  1. I'm just not typically one for the melodramatic, but both of Kyle Brandt's videos over the last 2 weeks gave me goosebumps.
  2. Screw them all. Let's all remember that Josh Allen had a few weeks there after the Raiders game where he was still clearly recovering from an injury. Also, we didn't play that game with Milano in the lineup and Edmunds was hobbled. Allen's healthy now. I know that we're dealing with some injuries from Davis and Beasley, but McDermott made it sound like Beas will be good. Plus John Brown is back and healthy and had a sneaky good game last week against the Ravens. I'm not excited about the fact that it looks like it's going to be raining, but it appears it won't be too windy. I hope Allen took something from that game in the rain in Buffalo and gets better from it. And then there's Milano, who I really think is just the X-factor of our D. Here's an interesting snippet from Joe B's All-22 in The Athletic's analysis of the Baltimore game: https://theathletic.com/2335118/2021/01/20/bills-ravens-josh-allen-dion-dawkins-matt-milano/ 5) Milano is proving why he should be an offseason priority For the second straight week in the playoffs, Bills linebacker Matt Milano showed that when he’s on the field for every snap, he makes the entire defense better. In addition to tackles and pass breakups, Milano made several standout plays against the Ravens that he wasn’t credited for on the stat sheet. Milano redirected rush attempts back inside by filling exterior run lanes. He fought through blocks to help plug running lanes and force Lamar Jackson to keep the ball on zone-reads, as the Bills had planned. Milano also scared Jackson off from throwing to his zone. The Bills will have some significant offseason decisions to make when they get there, especially if the salary cap decreases to the $176 million floor. Milano, an unrestricted free agent, ranks near the top of those decisions. He has been an outright difference-maker for the Bills. Right guard Jon Feliciano and right tackle Daryl Williams have both produced this season, but Milano’s overall impact is the biggest reason he should be the Bills’ top priority among UFAs in the offseason.
  3. This morning when I was listening to Colin Cowherd, he basically ranked the order of most interesting to least interesting Super Bowl. From most to least: Kansas City vs Tampa Bay Kansas City vs Green Bay Buffalo vs Tampa Bay Buffalo vs Green Bay His cohost Joy agreed with him, but in agreeing with him, she said something that I think is so true. She said "we just don't know enough about Josh Allen, yet." And neither of them were saying the Bills in the Super Bowl would be uninteresting. They were actually praising the fact that we're bound for an interesting Super Bowl, no matter what. But I just thought that statement was a good representation of the nation right now and its perception of Buffalo
  4. There's something wrong with you still so adamantly pretending you weren't just very, very wrong.
  5. Bru, stop trying to wiggle out of what you said. Contrary to what you've been arguing here, the Bills players DO thrive off negative or neglectful media attention. That's what you've been arguing. You were wrong. Just admit it and move on. What you're now shifting the argument to is whether the media truly is negative or neglectful in its media attention towards the Bills. Bravo! You're shifting back to the essence of what I was arguing in the OP after going off on tangents. And as I stated in the OP... yes... yes I think it is when taken holistically.
  6. Anyone else get the feeling Davonta Freeman is going to be active and play a role?
  7. I'll just say I appreciate the response and move on if you so refuse to respond to those initial points while evidently expecting a response to these. You respond to a post like this where (you think, at least) you have a strong response and then completely ignore the conversation where right now "doth protest too much." You and I could be great representations of what should be happening over at that other board with all the posters who've fled for their echo chamber while kicking out all dissenting opinion. Do you want to have a conversation? Or do you want to win an argument? I say that not because I believe most on this message board want to have a conversation. I think almost anyone in a politics forum wants to win an argument. And that includes everyone that's here at this moment and everyone who fled to the other board. What was irritating to me over there was that every time I actually did a deep dive into the "voter fraud" that those posters over there presented, they ended up being accusations that were flawed, if not complete lies. I'm here if you want to have a conversation. I'm not like a lot of people on this board, though. My responses aren't necessarily immediate because I just might not have the time. But if it's you, I'll get back to you.
  8. Go away Detroit!!! That's our next OC!!!
  9. Yep. Trump's legacy will pretty much be as a 21st century Herbert Hoover
  10. Doesn't need it, but when the word "almost" precedes it, the word has been modified. "Everything one way or the other motivates them" So then you're conceding that players are using that national media attention or lack thereof for motivation. Thank you
  11. What was the word that preceded "universally?" Go google your power rankings and you might find one here or there that had Cleveland better than Indy. The vast majority of them had Indy better, though. I know because I already looked.
  12. Have you not been following your own contradictory logic? Direct quotes from you: I think there is little chance that Bills players are using the perception that they are not being talked about enough going into this game as any kind of motivation whatsoever. players aren't concerned with something as trivial as this entire subject. And yet even @Thurman#1 who's on your side with the argument says that Joe B in his podcast has been hearing from players that they are using it as motivation. Then you try shifting the narrative by clinging to Joe B's vague statement that the national media is actually picking Buffalo win the Super Bowl... which really isn't backed by anything. So the players are evidently using it as motivation. And you were wrong.
  13. This would be funny if it were hyperbole. Yes The_Dude is over there doing his thing, too.
  14. Well you're entitled to that, but most football people seem to disagree. Cleveland was lucky to get a reeling Pittsburgh team in round 1 and then a twice injured Patrick Mahomes in round 2. I looked through your list. The even slightly recognizable names are largely picking the Ravens
  15. Good lord that's the most random bunch of names I've ever seen. I also see things like "Yahoo users" and "ESPN picks" in there. This doesn't exactly qualify as national media... just an argument you obviously want to win.
  16. Is it just slipping everyone's mind that the Colts also beat the #4 seed Titans and #1 seed Packers in consecutive games AFTER the aforementioned Cleveland loss???
  17. 65% out of 29 picking the Ravens trumps your 60% of out of 16 picking the Bills.
  18. A bunch? Define "a bunch" and post links. I would think "a bunch" would be more than 3. Post 4.
  19. Clarity, huh? For whom? On what? As for the judiciary... what's interesting is I think that even if the Democrats don't do something wild like eliminate the filibuster and pack the courts, any Trump appointee at any level is now going to understand that they were appointed by an insurrectionist who might become the first ever convicted President in an impeachment trial. You conservatives don't like Roberts so much already. We've already seen Gorsuch and Kavenaugh break ranks and vote for more "liberal" causes. I want Biden and the Democrats to do everything in their power to pack the courts at all levels at this point, honestly. But even if they don't, Trump screwed his judicial appointees over with almost all future decisions in terms of objectivity. And I find it odd that you respond to this one rather than the other much more elaborate post directly to you the other day. I saw you responded to me, but when I clicked on it, it showed nothing. Perhaps a second thought?
  20. I was going to respond to more points you made. But this one here makes you moron of the year. Yep. It knows the Trump Presidency is finally coming to an end.
