Only a buffalo bill fan could say this with a straight face after getting swept by a division foe. They won games and went to the playoffs... which is way more than the bills have accomplished in a long time. If the roles were reversed and the bills went to playoffs after sweeping the fins, and someone made this statement bills fan would go crazy. Just sayin.

The thing is, no matter how you spin it they weren't going anywhere. In 2016 you were 1-5 in your own division, had only 4 wins in the AFC and they were jax, browns and bengals....No chance they would have beaten Pats if the Pats didn't start an injured third string qb... The farce Miami games where their running back was ripping off 50 yards at a time was beyond ugly...etc etc etc 2016 was horrible.. Literally, there was nothing to build on, i don't see any other choice for this organization than a change in direction.

I would argue that even with those trades this may still be one of the better bills teams fielded over the last 17 years. Lots of parity, and sometimes the difference between the playoffs and not is just a handful of plays.
