  1. I think the only difference you might see, is medical personal getting to a player faster than normal if a player gets inured.
  2. Just looked up the the game maps for this week and they're delayed due to the bills/Bengals game situation. It'll be interesting if they show the bills/Pats for most of the country. I think the country probably wants to see the bills this week
  3. Assuming Hamlin is improving, I legitimately expect the bills to absolutely crush the Patriots souls. I could see this game being like 52-3.
  4. It'd be really cool if they put a number 3 in the bills logo on the field Sunday. There's probably some stupid nfl rules about that or something though
  5. I bet if Peterman even plays halfway decent (240 yards, 1 td, 1 int) he'll solidify another 2 years in the nfl
  6. I believe this past week was his final call up. Not sure if the nfl will allow it for this week seeing the circumstances have changed.
  7. I'll throw an idea out that I had a few years ago during covid. Sounds stupid but it's simple and effective- Have a field goal shoot out. Each teams kicker starts at the 5 yard line. For every kick made, the ball moves back 10 yards. First kicker to miss, that team loses. Do a best of 7 or something. Bass vs whoever Bengals kicker is 🤷
  8. You'd think after 4 years of being on practice squads, he's gotta be better right? RIGHT?
  9. Just trying to change up the mood a little around here. Go Peterman. Hope he throws for 350 yards and 3 td's
  10. Ya, osha laws etc. Also I don't think there's much to tell outside of he's still sedated
  11. You're right I agree. But there's still something to be said about gojng out and fighting after all that's happened. If they lose in the playoffs, are any of us really gonna be THAT mad? I mean we can't be. But we as bills fans will all come together for however far this team takes us. At the risk of sounding selfish, I think I speak for alot of bills fans when I say we need this team to push on...... This is all assuming Hamlin continues to improve
  12. We can all sit here and bash kc fans all we want, but I gaurentee if it was a kc player this happened to and there was a possibility of it affecting the bills 1 seed spot, there would absolutely be posters here saying similar things
  13. Assuming Hamlin keeps improving and pulls out of this, I can absolutely see the team rallying around this. There's 2 ways the rest of this season can go. They either mail it in and let this over take them, or they fight on and win the whole damn thing for Hamlin. I suspect the latter. This team is strong. While I don't know Hamlin personally (obviously) I suspect he'd want the team to fight on
  14. Was the lung damage from not breathing, or from the tackle?
  15. With the technology we have today, I can't believe the nfl doesn't have people in the booth that can go back and look at these plays and instantly call a penalty on the field. I understand that refs arnt gonna catch every single thing, but when it comes to this kind of thing, and the play with allen, it shoukd be reviewed and called immediately
  16. Completely off topic, but it's surprising to me that this kind of thing doesn't happen more in ufc and boxing, but especially ufc. The brain trauma has to be outstanding
  17. I say push playoffs back a week to get the bills/Bengals played. Given the situation, I think teams would understand. It'd only give the 2 superbowl teams a week to prepare, but in all honestly I don't think it'd be that big a deal. Nobody cares about the pro bowl anyway
  18. The throw to Bease on 3rd down was huge. Cost us 7 points. I was upset they didn't go for it. Felt like the score was about to be 14 - 3. Not sure why the bills defense wasnt covering the middle of the field.
  19. Agree. I can see Goodell sitting in his office slamming his fist on the desk. I Garentee he'll do everything in his power to keep the nfl on schedule
  20. I agree, and I've been through some of that with my dad and his heart attacks. Having said that though, if the team and fans get good news regarding hamlin, the team could potentially rally around that. I'm just thinking out loud here, but I'd imagine if a family member was in hamlins condition, and then my family gets great news that that family member is going to be ok, that completely changes the mood. I dunno. Just putting thoughts out there
  21. Ya I assumed, but even that seems crazy right now
  22. So if the game ends up being played, do they start it in the middle of the 1st quarter? Or do they start from scratch and play 4 full quarters?
  23. Nfl isn't gonna cancel the rest of the season, and honestly I think that'd be ridiculous if they did. Yes, they have to figure out the bills/Bengals game and what will happen, but they arnt canceling the season.
  24. I agree. That's why I hope they can rally and get back to "normal". This team and coaching staff are a strong bunch and think they'll rally when the time is right
