  1. I don't HAVE to, but I do because of the arc input on my TV. See my previous reply
  2. You know in the not so distant future saying something like this is gonna be "racist"
  3. As I mentioned earlier, cable box, sound bar, chrome cast and blu ray player.
  4. If you only have to take the back of the TV off to make a repair it can be pretty simple. Unfortunately for me, it's a problem with one if the LED lights which requires taking off the entire front panel and all the circuit boards
  5. Yes. My issue seems to be a somewhat common issue in LG TV's. However the repair consists of basically dismantling the entire TV to get to the issue. I don't trust myself one bit trying to dismantle a 65" TV. Would rather have a professional do it
  6. I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Sound bars are not theater sound, but do typically sound much better than the average new flat panel TV. If your sound bar has an ARC input, which uses hdmi, then everything that goes through your tv goes through your sound bar. Think of it as a speaker extention for your TV by plugging it into your TV via an hdmi cable. It also eliminates using 2 remotes (one for the cable box and one for the sound bar). ARC basically turns your sound bar into your TV speakers. Once I got a sound bar with ARC, I could never go back
  7. Not a bad idea. Gonna wait to hear back from the repair shop today or tomorrow and see what happens.
  8. Well as far as hdmi inputs go, I have my directv box, blu ray player, chromecast and soundbar(which uses hdmi for the audio return channel).so that's 4 hdmi inputs I use. Like I said, I could get by with 3 seeing as I don't use the blu ray player all that often. The other 3 are necessity though
  9. Well that's my issue. I've been pricing new tvs and it's just annoying. I can get 50 or 55 inch 4k TV for anywhere from 700-1000 dollars. While that's a decent price compared to what I paid 3 years ago, they lack in other areas. My 65" has 4 hdmi inputs and 3 usb. Alot of the "cheaper" new 4k tvs have a max of 3 hdmi (sometimes 2) inputs. While I'm willing to go down a little bit in size, I cant live with only 2 hdmi inputs. 3 is tolerable. At the end of the day, I jyst really don't wanna spend that much money again
  10. I'm a bit disappointed in Samsung. I purchased a 65" Samsung smart LED TV 3 years ago. Cost me $1600 new. I noticed last week their was a bright spot in the picture. Almost in the center of the screen. Best way I can describe it is that it looks like theirs a spotlight in the picture. It's very annoying Spent 45 mins on the phone with Samsung technical support. Long story short, they told me it'd be better to just buy a new TV because it'd cost roughly $1000 to fix. Did some research on the internet and it seems to be that one of the backlight lenses fell off. Apparently this is a common issue with LG tvs. I called Samsung back to see if they could help me out, like with purchasing a new TV considering this TV is only 3 years old. They told me to call around and see if I could find someone to fix it cheaper. Wtf seriously? Way to stand behind your products Samsung. So I found a local TV repair shop that seemed to be fairly familiar with the issue and they're taking a look at it. They advised me that because they basically have to take the entire TV apart to fix the issue, theirs a chance the TV may not turn on again after the repair. I've never had a TV repair done and jyst curious if anyone here has with newer tvs
  11. I think I'd take Tyrod over cam honestly. Yes cam is good, but I wouldn't put my franchise on his shoulders. Would rather take my chances in the draft
  12. Believe it or not, I thought Gailey and nix would turn the franchise around. While they had some bad drafts, Gailey was offensive minded and loved to throw the ball which we really hadent seen under jauron. Also liked mularky and donohoe at the time
  13. I'll admit that over the last 17 years I liked certain coach/gm tandems that we've had. Obviously they didn't pan out, but I must say that I'm overly impressed at what beane and McDermott have done this season. At times I've been annoyed with the constant player shuffling, but overall beanes player acquisitions and trades have been phenomenal. Still don't know if I believe we're a ten win team this year, but for the first time in however long, I am completely confident in this staff. GO BILLS
  14. I agree schoop has a negative tone, but I have heard him say quite a few times how much fun this year has been so far
  15. Funny, I was reading people post on Instagram how we traded for Benjamin at 345, thought it was hogwash, was shocked when I got the text
  16. Nice, thanks for the heads up. Got the dvr set
  17. Still think the Louisville basketball player that injured his leg in the ncaa tournament a few years back was the worst I've ever seen
  18. I saw a picture of the injury and that was enough for me, but was it a non contact injury?
  19. Looked more like college than the NFL. What's funny is, I thought the refs were gonna throw a flag for excessive celebration lol
  20. Prior to the Sammy and Darby trade I thought this team could pull off 10 wins. After those trades I was thinking 6 to 8 wins. I am more than impressed with this coach and team. Having said that, I still don't know if this team can/will get to 10 wins
  21. If I recall, we started stacking up injuries after that 5-2 start in 2011. Honestly, I have no idea how we beat that Patriots that year. Every other team we beat in those first 7 games were pretty bad. I still don't know if I fully believe this current team is legit. I think our schedule is much easier than originally anticipated, and McDermott has the bills playing sound football.
  22. I have a gut feeling the bills were doing everything they could to keep Dareus healthy for a trade. Marcell might be a beast for the jags because he's gonna get alot more playing time.
  23. If I was McDermott, I drop 7 guys in coverage every play. I highly doubt the raiders are gonna beat us up on the ground. I hate that it's supposed to rain all game. I feel like the bills have no idea how to win in bad weather
  24. Whaley brought in some good players. He also missed on draft picks. Whaleys biggest problem was giving Dareus and absurd contract and not getting a better qb here. Although Tyrod is still our starter so I guess whaley gets some credit for that
