Am I seeing this right that the Chargers arnt even on in their own district?
Nm, they are. Wow that's a small blip for Chargers fans

Benching Tyrod has zero effect on Mccoy, unless he's mad that he won't be getting the check down throws. Mccoy can still run down a teams throat regardless of who's handing him the ball

BURNNNNNNNNNNNNNN on Tyrod
I think you're reading way too much into it. He's simply stating that anticipation is important in the NFL.

I've been reading alot on social media since it was announced that Peterman will start. Half the people are super excited and the other half think the bills are tanking
I said on Monday that listening to McDermott's press conference infuriated me. Lots of the "we believe in our guys" type answers. But we may finally have a coach who isn't just settling for mediocrity. We've done this song and dance for so long. I absolutely love that the change was made. We are trying to save this season

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Tyrod is:
1) 5'11" (not 6'1")
2) Nervous in the pocket
3) Afraid to turn the ball over
4) Looks for open receivers
5) Throws beautiful deep ball close to sideline
6) Unable to effectively audible out of a play when the defense changes
Great guy, but this move was needed for all the reasons above that have nothing to do with A. Lynn.
Basically, the Chargers were going to make Tyrod do what an NFL QB needs to do: throw the ball from the pocket.
I always thought it was funny when it came up that Tyrod is 6'1. Like yaaaaa suure

So they'll go back Tyrod the week after?
-
This is the perfect game to start him. We're playing a 3-6 team in a stadium that holds 25000 people. This is as perfect a time for Peterman as it gets

This is the ballziest move in team history AND I LOVE IT.
No mater how this works out guys................. this organization needs to move on from Taylor.
Painfully obvious Taylor is not an NFL and the Bills needed to move on from him, no matter what the option is behind Taylor.
This team was THAT BAD the last two weeks and needed this DRASTIC change.
I've been saying it all week. Starting Peterman is low risk, high reward. Love this move

Thank you coach McDermott!

Well, he's not going to publicly slam his coaches and players and point out their faults. That's why these pressers are worthless, they will not tell you what the coach is really thinking.
I get that, but can he at least sound a little concerned? Your team played horrendous 2 weeks in a row and one of them you had 10 days prep. Don't act like you're just gonna watch tape and fix things.
-
Honestly, watching McDermott's press conference yesterday infuriated me. The prototypical coach answers like "we believe in him" and "were confident in our guys" blah blah. You know you sound like every other coach that's been here the last 17 years?? Can you please for the love of the fans act like you're concerned about these last 2 weeks? Can you please act like this team has looked as opposed to the most flat answers you can possibly give.

he's Trent Edwards, I am not sold on him yet, throwing comeback routes against a prevent defense does nothing for me. He is a good backup and we shouldn't fool ourselves that he is anything more than that. Tyrod is better, but I think Tyrod is a back up, placed into a starting role.
I could be wrong about this, but I don't think I've seen Peterman throw a single check down between pre season and the saints game. How can you even compare the two?

Keeping Tyrod the starter is giving up on the season.

Taylor doesn't trust his own accuracy.
Taylor doesn't trust his receivers to make a play.
His avoidance of possible 'mistakes' makes him a mistake.
If he is here in 2018, ticket sales will drop off the ledge and maybe that is what is needed to conclusively end this mistake.
I can't imagine any scenario minus Taylor taking us to the superbowl that he's here next season

even with a short sample size one thing
peterman does well is scan the field which tyrod struggles with
This is just a thing of beauty. I fell like I've never seen this throw from Tyrod in 3 seasons. Probably have, but they're so rare

Tyrod needs another two or three years. He’s basically still a rookie QB in this system.
I really hope you're being sarcastic

McDermott said today that he's seen improvement in Tyrod this year. My question is, what has he seen improvement in? Tyrod is the exact same if not worse than he was 2 years ago. McDermott cannot honestly believe what he said
-
After yesterday I lost all hope of playoffs. I'm afraid the Chargers may destroy us this Sunday. Maybe not as bad as the saints, but I can see a 27-13 loss this week. I've lost all confidence in Taylor
-
Well McDermott is gonna stick with Tyrod. This coukd turn into a crap show real quick

Exactly wrong. They aren't experimenting with a rookie Quarterback based on mop up duty while they remain in playoff contention.
Serious question. What about Taylor makes you think he can save this season? What have you seen the last 3 seasons that makes you think he's all of a sudden gonna change. Have we not done this enough in the last 10ish years? Stuck with a guy who isn't it? Jp losman, trent Edwards, Ryan Fitzpatrick. At least Doug Marrone had the scones to bench Ej manuel

They will take a QB next year, most likely somewhere in the top 4 picks. All the reports I’ve seen from insiders on here are that the long term plan was to bring Tyrod back as the veteran mentor for the rookie, and Peterman to compete or be the long term backup. I don’t think there is anything Peterman could do at this point to change the plan.

EXACTLY. this is why you play Peterman now. The bills will draft a qb next year even if we go deep into the playoffs this year. You are losing nothing. Like I stated previously, low risk high reward. At the very least, you are giving Peterman quality reps to either be the potential starter next year or to be a sound backup

It’s also college.
i believe this offense fits NP better but some of you are completely underestimating the level of NFL competition he has faced so far.
Because Tyrod handles it so much better? He's been sacked 9 times in the last 2 games

Just adding some fuel to the fire. Don't tell me Peterman can be worse than Tyrod. I see alot of runs here
