Let me start by saying that I don't necessarily believe what I'm about to write, but that I could definitely see their being some truth to it. Let's go back a few weeks to before/after the Chargers game. McDermott gets killed by local and national media for benching Tyrod and starting Peterman. Then Peterman starts and has about the worst possible game a qb could have. No way he can start Peterman again the next week, but makes sure to say Tyrod is our guy "this week". Won't commit to Tyrod past the game that week. I believe McDermott is dying to get Peterman back out there, but has to do it in a way that won't get him killed by media, and also won't have his players questioning his coaching ability and leadership. Let's be honest, we see taylor every week and how bad he's been, I can only imagine it has to be that much more frustrating for the coaching staff. That brings us to this past week against the Patriots. I believe McDermott knew we didn't stand a chance against the Patriots, and only by some miracle would we win that game. Had Tyrod pulled off the win somehow, then yes he absolutely has the right to remain the starting qb. As McDermott suspected though, Tyrod was pretty awful (granted could be due to the early injury in the game) and now has an excuse to go back to Peterman with tyrods injury being an easy out. Tyrods play the past week warrants a change, but the injury is an even easier way out of starting Taylor Which brings me to my next point. We haven't seen Joe Webb all season long. While he didn't do anything spectacular in the Patriots game, he did get some good rushing yards, and had that pass been caught by cadet, some may even be clamoring for him to start. So what took the bills staff so long to bring in this wildcat/more creative offense? Could we have not used this against the saints and Chargers or even chiefs? This is the staff preparing to pad Peterman. What I mean is, they don't want another disaster game like the Chargers. They can't risk another 5 interception game. I am 100% confident that Peterman starts this week and we will see alot of Joe Webb with the wildcat and maybe a few pass plays to help take a little pressure off Peterman. If I'm wrong about Peterman starting, you can bump this thread and I will absolutely eat crow. Again, I don't necessarily believe everything I wrote. I do however believe that McDermott is dying to get Peterman back as starting qb and barring another disaster, he will remain there the next 4 weeks

Tre White: "the whole hood want 'em (Gronk)"
Steptide replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think anyone expected poyer and Gaines to be as good as they've been. I think Hyde and white were the only ones we were holding a to a high standard -
Will Tre' Davious White play vs the Colts

I think he will. He looked like he had more of a busted lip than concussion after that hit Sunday. -

I did not see this but would like to now lol -

I actually think all NFL players should do a shot before a game. Probably would relax players a little bit and maybe save on some injuries -

Hope Reilly is active this week. Would suck to get our hopes up and then him be inactive -

Kinda surprised if Benjamin is coming back this week that they'd activate Reilly. Wonder if another team may have wanted to sign him -

Surprised about matthews. Excited to see Brandon Riley. I'd almost guess this guarantees Peterman starting this week. They have a lot of reps together Who is capi cap? Or whatever his name is -
Who do you want to start this week, Peterman or Taylor?
Steptide replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I read somewhere (instagram I think?) that Taylor ranks 39th in passing yards in the NFL. If that is true, that is a truly absurd stat. He's not even in the top 32 -

I agree. This would be a great game for Peterman's development -

You cannot say Peterman is terrible when we've hardly seen him. Yes he was terrible in the Chargers game. But he threw for almost the same amount of yards on Sunday as Taylor. And did it in less than a quarter -
I'm gonna say Peterman. I think at this point the writing is on the wall for Taylor. I know Peterman's last start was a train wreck to say the least, but I wanna see him play a full game. Having said that, I do wanna see this team make the playoffs. If the coaching staff starts Taylor this week, I'm ok with that too if it helps us get to 9-7

That hit looked very Kevin everett-ish

Peterman's 1st series vs. the Pats - WHY?
Steptide replied to Punt75's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I heard McDermott or woods (can't remember) on wgr say that Peterman had the option to run from the 1 yard line if he wanted. Still stupid play calls though. Give it to shady. End of story -
Why don't the bills get more Monday night games?
Steptide replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because Cincinnati is just such a powerhouse? Every year their are mnf games with bad teams. Miami is on next Monday and Tampa Bay after that. I get that theirs no way to know who will be good when the schedule comes out, but the bills have had some great Monday night games from a football fan perspective -
I understand that our record on mnf since the 07 Dallas Monday night game is bad. Actually we don't even have a win on mnf since 07. However, every Monday night game we've been on has been great (from an entertainment standpoint). Set your bills Fandom aside for a minute and think of our Monday night games starting with Dallas. Dallas 07 Cleveland 08 Patriots 09 Cleveland 13 Patriots 15 Seahawks 16 I may have forgotten one, but all the ones I listed were great games (again from an entertainment standpoint). All had close scores and some came down to the final minute or second. Imo the NFL should absolutely give the bills at least one mnf game a year.

I was thinking this today also. We are alot less talented this year Imo. Although the offense has been abysmal lately. I think McDermott will get this thing turned around

Tyrod injury=End of Tyrod Era, even if not serious.
Steptide replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because Miami and indy are very winnable games. Like I said, I'm fine with Peterman starting the next 4 if that's what's gonna happen
