I hope I don't come across as ignorant as I don't know every nfl offensive play there is. Something just strikes me with Allen's big runs. I don't see the all 22s and I rarely re watch a game. So here's what I can't figure out. It seems like Allen gets these huge run plays often times right up the middle of the field. Where are the recievers? Are they turning and blocking down field as soon as allen runs? It seems like the middle of the field is wide open on these plays, and I can't figure why there are no recievers playing the middle of the field. Why hasn't a single reciver run to this wide open space for Allen to make a completion?

Is this the same officiating crew the bills had last week or the week before?

It's kinda sad that our best reciever lately is foster. Not that I'm unhappy he's playing well, but wasn't he a 5th or 6th round pick?

Might help too if we were kicking touch backs instead of letting guys get big returns

I think he fully expected (and maybe even wanted) this kind of season. McBeans free agency and draft bonors are gonna be huge this off season. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I expect a completely different team next year

I agree with all the points minus the daboll one. While I don't think he should be fired, I do think the play calling gradually got weaker throughout the game. How many end arounds can you run in a game? Allen had some really great throws today, but you have to mix it up a bit. Can we PLEASE run some slants?

To answer the original question, I'm in the cautiously optimistic crowd. I love Allen's fire. I can't remember the last qb we had who lost a game (on a 4-7 team) that looked like he had just lost the national championship game in college in his post game presser (speaking of Allen after the Miami loss this last Sunday). So yes I think there is something special there, but I'll contain my excitement for now.

I keep hearing about this "Allen is a bust" crowd, but I have no idea who/where they are. I'd say 75% of fans are cautiously optimistic, while 25% are certain he's the next Kelly. I read almost nothing on here, or hear nothing from local radio about Allen being a bust or the wrong pick
