  1. I know this will sound crazy considering the Patriots were in the superbowl last year, but Imo Brady didn't look as good last year as previous years. He looked vulnerable and sluggish to some degree. Yes, they went to the superbowl, but mark my words, last year was the beggining of the end for the Brady era
  2. I remember when I was about 12 my grandpa, who fought in ww2 came and stayed with us for a week. He stayed with us during the week of d day. The history Channel was showing a special about. He was telling my mom all about it, but at the time I was 12 and was like whatever. I wish I had listened and payed attention. He saw alot of war and death.
  3. Worst mechanical issue was I had my transmission go as I was driving. Other worst problem was having my hood fly up and smash the windshield as I was going about 50mph. Myself and gf(at the time) had just left valvoline(no surprise there) and they didn't fully latch the hood. Definitely the most scary thing I've had happen while driving
  4. Serious question. Is there anyone here that wishes Tyrod was still our starting quarterback?
  5. Sorry I'm so late to the thread, but can you really "blow people away" in Ota's? I mean they're not even really legit practices
  6. Just finished watching this. What a crazy story. I do not remember this happening. I was 22 at the time, so I doubt I was paying any attention to national news stories. The documentary made Marjorie Diehl out to be mentally ill, which indeed she was. However they never mentioned her being a sociopath, which Imo is exactly what she was. If you haven't watched this yet, go watch it
  7. I've said many times here before, I have a special place in my heart for Peterman. Having said that, I want the best qb we have to start for the bills. There seems to be this thinking by bills fans/media that McCarron is the most likely starter, unless Allen is a true beast and wins the job. Either of those scenarios is fine. However, I remember a few years back when we signed Cassel and fans seemed to have high hopes for him. Many here (or the old bbmb) seemed to think he was gonna be the starter. Once camp and pre season started however, he didn't live up to the previous success he had with new England and Kansas city and was not good. I could see McCarron being the same type of player. I could also see allen not being ready and Peterman steals the starting job. So there you have it, McCarron sucks and Allen isn't ready. I don't think this is far out of the realm of possibility. I actually in some way see McDermott and beane hoping it plays out this way. If McCarron wins us 12 games this year and we go a few games into the playoffs, then we have a potential franchise qb while having a 1st round pick that we payed alot for, sitting. You could say the same about Peterman if he wins us 12 games too. At any rate, just a few thoughts I had on a boring Saturday night.
  8. My wife's family owns a big house on a lake in the Adirondacks. My wife goes every summer for 2 weeks. Some of her family spends a month and a half there. I can basically go whenever I want in the summer. It is the most BORING "vacation" I've ever had. I went 3 years in a row and never again. I would rather take a week off from work and sit at home and do nothing than drive 3 and a half hours to this place. Point is, technically this would be a vacation, but no thanks. To me, a vacation is somewhere tropical, or somewhere fancy like Paris or Ireland or somewhere you don't go frequently. I don't count Adirondack type places as vacation because you're not really getting away
  9. U havent been out of state since since March of 17? I haven't been out of state since November of 2015 and that was for my honeymoon. The last real vacation I had prior to that was a cruise in 2006. I've been to the thousand islands and other adorondack trips, but I don't know if that counts as a legit vacation.
  10. Not gonna pretend I'm a Dr or nfl player, but I'd honestly be surprised if it was cte. Linemen don't get the same kind of collisions players like wide receivers or other positions get. Again , I'm speaking out of ignorance, but just my opinion. I think it's either roid rage or some psychological issue
  11. Let's start a 5 year go fund me. We can raise the money
  12. How did this dude go so nuts in such a short time? I know he had issues previously, but he's talked many times how it's in the past and he's a new man etc.
  13. I've stated here many times that I'm a Peterman fan. While I dont know if he's ready to be the starter, I do think he's gonna impress people this year. He's the only qb we have that has any experience with our current offense. McCarron might be good, he also might be terrible. As crazy as it sounds, Peterman is the most proven qb we have on our roster currently. Yes, 5 interceptions I know, but let's let by gones be by gones. Either way, I just want the best qb starting
  14. That Tyrod joke was hilarious and cold
  15. Doubtful. Plus what would be the point really?
  16. I'd say this definitely wins for a modern day song
  17. Streater was on fire last year until he got hurt. Pretty sure at one point he hadent dropped a single pass in camp. That's insane. He could be a hidden gem. Hoping he lights it up this year
  18. I actually think McCarron will end up being cut during training camp or shortly before the season. Imo Peterman and Allen probably arnt much worse or much better
  19. I know it's not a Netflix or Hulu show, but I've actually been digging "the crossing" on ABC. It's on Monday nights at 10pm. Good story. Don't know where they're gonna go with it, but so far it's holding my interest well
  20. Finished season 1 today. One of my favorite shows I've watched in a while. The Johnny Lawrence character makes the entire show. His attitude towards life and karate is hilarious. This show will be huge. Give it a month or two. The final episode was awesome. Wish I could say more but don't want to ruin it for anyone
  21. He was a huge douche bag in the original. Actually in all 3 original movies. I think how they've portrayed Johnny and Daniel in modern day is prefect. I find it hysterical that both characters can't get over their past. It's incredibly dumb and awesome at the same time.
  22. Watched the 1st episode. Outstanding.
  23. Im very late to this thread, but I think the simple answer to the original post is that pegula handed over authority and control to McDermott after the Rex mess. Terry probably took a step back after firing Rex and realized that maybe it's not as easy as he originally thought
  24. I agree completely, but unfortunately the NFL doesn't
