Bills Training Camp: Day 3 - 7/27
Steptide replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Training camp is one of those strange things. On one hand if your defense plays great, you worry about your offense, but if the offense plays great you worry about the defense. I think what we shoukd start to see is good and bad days for both sides -
If you listen to Chris brown on one bills live when he talks about the bills recievers, you'd think this is the best wide reciever group in NFL history. I like Chris brown alot, but sometimes his homerism comes out. He was saying a short while back that this group is almost uncoverable. Cmon, really? I think they're upgraded for sure, but time will tell how good they are

I met Josh’s Mom and GF last night

That's a cool story. I wonder where they stay, like do they just rent hotels every night? -
I hope Lorenzo Alexander learned his lesson.

100 bucks bell isn't nearly as good as he was 2 years ago -
I remember when we got him how excited people were (myself included). Some people were calling wgr and saying he was a top 10 reciever in the NFL (lol). Sad thing is, he could probably be really good

Bills Training Camp Day 2 - 7/26
Steptide replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know everyone wants to see Allen's improvement from last season, but I'm genuinely curious about Barkley also -

Snow Game - Bills Colts 2017 - 2pt Conversion
Steptide replied to BillsM@fia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That season was very flukey. This particular play, the fumble called on Matt Ryan against the falcons, and Ofcourse the Dalton td pass on a 4th down to push the bills into the playoffs. Enjoy it, things don't typically go the bills way -
Report: NFL owners pitch 18-game schedule
Steptide replied to nucci's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The sad thing is, Tasker actually asked some national reporter about it when they had him on. Can't remember who it was, but the guy was like, "wait did you just say 18 game schedule where they sit starters 2 games?". He thought it was ridiculous also, but here we are... -
Report: NFL owners pitch 18-game schedule
Steptide replied to nucci's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't read all 7 pages of reply, but was it mentioned that Tasker had this idea on one bills live a while back? He mentions it every so often and Murph typically laughs at him. Rightfully so, it's a horrific idea -
Interesting. It says an indoor antenna shouldn't have any issue picking up my local channels. However I can't get any but one. Maybe I need a more expensive antenna
-
Unfortunately not where I live. I have too many trees on my property. I already have an antenna and can only get one local channel that's shakey at best
-
So most of you Rochester directv customers probably noticed that we lost CBS on top of ABC, which we haven't had for a month now. I watch quite a bit of the local channels, so this is super annoying. I'm getting to the point where I'm ready to switch, however it seems alot of the major streaming services don't include alot of channels. I've only seen one streaming service that offers nfl network. Alot of streaming services don't include local channels. YouTube TV is the only one I've seen that includes all local channels based on your zip code. Also, Im finding the cost of streaming services isn't much less than my directv bill, and they have way less channels. So I guess I'm curious if anyone here uses them and what you think

Does anyone here not have central AC?

I have a window unit which cools down my entire house. Probably saves alot of electricity in the long run too -
PEGULA: Fan-related costs factor into stadium decision
Steptide replied to OldTimeAFLGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
May I ask a question out of ignorance? Could pegula retrofit the current stadium with his own money? Say 750 million? Wouldn't that still leave him with roughly 2 billion dollars? -

Death, Taxes and Peterman lighting it up....

Glad the Peterman experiment is over here in buffalo. However, I'd be lying if I said that I wouldnt be thrilled for the kid if he ever gets to start again and tears it up -
PanchoBilla enters Hospice (Has now passed away)

Sucks. Prayers for his family. -
I don't have a gym membership, but this past winter, my wife took a bunch of exercise equipment from her step dad. An elliptical machine, a treadmill and a weight bench. As well as some other exercise stuff (light weights, exercise ball etc). I litterally have a home gym in my basement. None of it has been used, and none of it will ever be used. I begged my wife not to take this crap. Getting the elliptical machine into our basement was a monumental task. Now all this junk is just rotting in our basement. I want to sell it all so bad, but my wife won't let me. It's litterally going to sit there for the next 10 years. Thing is, I'd use it. I actually enjoy exercising, but with kids and work etc, it's just not possible at the moment

Well I'll say this, if he is right, lots of people are gonna be calling for McDermott to be fired -
Hard to imagine Derek Anderson making the roster
Steptide replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the bills coaches fully intend to keep him and Barkley. Barkley as the legit backup and Anderson as the mentor/emergency qb. Signing the qb from ub I think was more or less a nice gesture by the Pegulas to give him a fighting chance at an NFL career. Hell probably get decent time playing in the pre season and have a chance to get picked up somewhere
