Yes. I was in the same boat as many. I thought he was losman 2.0. I saw some pre draft interviews with him and thought he even had some of that cockiness that losman had. Now that we've gone through a full season though, I realize his cockiness or lack thereof is just leadership. I'm super excited for his future here. I have no doubt he'll work hard to improve this off season. I'm not 100% convinced he's our next franchise qb yet, but I'm really close.

Josh Allen is a cheat code on 3rd and 4th and 1!!
Steptide replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like this play by allen/McDermott. I believe they took a page out of the brady/Belichick book and good for them. However I did hate the trying to draw the defense Offside thing where Allen would do the snap count 3 times and then snap the ball. I feel like they did this every single week and it didn't work once -
Bills fire OL Coach Juan Castillo

Does Bobby April still coach? Serious question. Never thought the bills should've let him go -

The Buffalo Bills - a stable and well-run organization?

Cowher has been high on the bills since 2010 when he recommended we hire Gailey as head coach. I believe the bills approached him to be the coach himself but he declined. Wonder if there's a small part of him that wishes he took the job -
Who Are You Rooting for the Rest of the Way?
Steptide replied to BUFFALOKIE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know this will probably get lost in the shuffle with all the news of coaches being fired today, but who's everyone rooting for? Me personally I'm rooting for the Colts. My brother and sister in law live in indy and are Colts fans, and also I love Reich as a head coach and former Bill. After that I'm rooting for whoever is playing the Patriots. Although, a very small part of me would love to see the Patriots get back to the superbowl and lose again, or on the flip side have the Patriots win and Brady retire -

I'd be SHOCKED if the bills let him walk after one season -

Didn't see this at all honestly. Little surprised, but glad Josh will have plenty of help -

If this was a Dolphins player on a bills player, you'd all be pissed and say it was a cheap shot. I get these kinda hits happen, but it wasn't completely necessary.

Different circumstances, but my last boss was super trigger happy when it came to firing guys. The more seniority you had, the less chance you had of getting fired, but in 14 years working for him, I missed work twice due to illness.most times, I'd work through sickness or injury. I was that paranoid about it. I tore my hamstring one year and refused to even tell him about ( my job is physically demanding) because I knew he wouldn't let me work, and I refused to miss time. I don't care how long a person works for an employer, I do not trust any company. I've known way too many people who've gotten screwed by their employer after working for them for 20 or more years.

New York Jets: HC Todd Bowles fired
Steptide replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Losman I think couldve been a decent qb with some good coaching. He had some awful coordinators and jauron as his coach. I don't know what happened with Edwards. So much promise in 07 and the start of 08 until he got injured. Manuel Imo was just a bad 1st round pick. Looking back on it, he probably should've been a 4th round pick. It's crazy he was drafted in the 1st round -

Maybe, but I believe coaching changes with young qbs typically isn't a good thing. At least not with the bills. Losman, Edwards and manuel all had head coach/coordinator changes in their time here -

Firing Bowles could be a bad thing for Darnold and a good thing for the bills -

Looking like we will be number 1 in D
Steptide replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who cares, I'll take number 2. Just hope we can build on it and be as good or better next year
