I have to imagine Fitz had a say in Gailey getting hired. What team is even thinking of a coach who hasent been heard of in 4 years? It's kinda funny though, Fitz and Gailey just love each other

I don't think he played THAT bad. He had some bad snaps from center and o line blocking was pretty sketchy at times. I think in meaningful games with more preparation with starters, he'd be fine.

[Edited title] Duke williams should play
Steptide replied to Marvlevydraftdaygenius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Remember when people said duke wasn't starting because he's slow and doesnt get seperation, but then he has a hundred yards recieving with a backup qb? Ya, start the man. I think he's earned it What's funny/ironic is that McDermott said in his presser yesterday how popular he is with the fans. So he definitely knows we all want him in there(not that fan opinion matters). -
Appreciate this team and season
Steptide replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I admit, I predicted this team to be 8-8 before the season. Even 8-8 would still have been an improvement over last season. At 10-6 I am happy. The bills are nowhere near perfect and definitely need to improve on offense. But win or lose this weekend, I'm happy overall with the season -
Bills at Texans Playoff Game, Saturday 4:35 pm
Steptide replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So, with all the games pretty much done today, does anyone know if we would have made it in at 9-7? I know it doesn't matter cuz the bills finished 10-6, but I'm just curious -

[Edited title] Duke williams should play
Steptide replied to Marvlevydraftdaygenius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Every game Duke has played he's proved he can make any catch. Sideline, over the middle, deep pass etc. If he doesn't play vs houston, I litterally have no idea what a player would have to do to earn the coaching staffs trust -
Week 17: NJ Jets at Buffalo Bills PostGame
Steptide replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After watching the game today, I don't care at all if foster plays again this season. Did he make a single catch? I don't know what more Duke would have to do to prove he's a good 3rd or 4th reciever, and can make a good catch if needed -

The runs and passes for the bills offense just look so easy -
Any way that Christian Wade can play in the playoffs?

Be fun to see him play this week behind yeldon, but after that, no, I wouldn't want him to play -

Watching it now. Couple things I've noticed. The game is much slower overall. The recievers look like they run half the speed that modern day recievers do -
Jets played good in the first half against the steelers, but did nothing in the second half. I think it'll be a close game with the bills backups in. Plus it's at home which I think will give the bills an advantage.

Pretty sure once you go for a fg, you don't get another down. Also, anyone who catches a pass has to be an eligible reciever, meaning that player has to report as eligible and the defense would probably know something was up

This isn't totally out of the question. Assuming brown and beasley don't play, Duke may be the only reliable reciever out there. Whatd be interesting to see is if knox, croft and Williams all play, how much size makes a difference. Those are three large recievers and I'll be interested to see how much red zone efficiency changes with them.
