  1. Take it for what it's worth, sorry if already posted
  2. I've said it before and I'll say It again. I'm glad the Peterman experiment is over here, but I really hope he makes a team and has a great redemption story. As long as I've been a football fan, I've never seen anyone handle complete failure as well as he did. I give him a ton of credit for that and wish him the best.
  3. Totally agree and have been saying the same thing for a few years now. Before AT&T took over, their customer service was fantastic. Always spoke to someone that spoke english and they were good about any issue you had. Now it's like talking to a brick wall and pulling teeth to talk to someone in the states. I will say they are still pretty helpful if you can get them to transfer you to someone in America. My brother had directv for a few years and had a ton of problems with their streaming app and they couldn't give him a reason it wouldn't work. They've declined greatly
  4. So they're showing one pre season game and all the regular season games? What kinda sense does that make Apparently the areas that CBS owns CBS directly are back on the air. I guess areas where CBS is owned by nexstar, it's still blacked out. Such bs
  5. Where I live I can barely pick up channels. Occasionally I can get cbs, but any bad weather (like last night) and I get Nothin
  6. Call center workers who 4 days ago said they'd send me a free antenna that plugs into my cable box for local channels, only to tell me last night that this antenna they were supposed to send (which they didn't and never told they wernt sending it) doesnt work with my directv box? Yes, innocent call center employees who are other countries and can't understand what I'm asking
  7. Good to know. Wonder why it would work on Hulu and not YouTube TV. Where do u live?
  8. Had this same issue. Directv guide was showing this on my TV also and Nothin. So stupid and frustrating
  9. I'm venting here, I need to get it all out because my wife doesnt seem to understand. Last night, like all of us, I was looking forward to watching the bills. I have not had CBS since the beginning of July and not had ABC since June. I was plenty aware the bills games would be on CBS. First thing I did was bought 2 over the air antennas. One was a cheap 10 dollar one and the other a powered 75 dollar one (both indoor). Anyway, neither of those worked, so I bit the bullet and subscribed to YouTube TV which includes all local channels. As much as I hate paying for both directv and a streaming TV service, at least I'd be able to watch my bills. Low and behold, YouTube had the bills game blocked on CBS last night and directv has no CBS where I live. I tried in a fit of rage to get my antenna working but no luck. I called directv and lost my mind on them. After that I attempted to watch the game via the bills app, but the stream was sketchy at best. Very pixalated and constantly cutting out. I called directv back again (to see if there was a way I could watch ppv) and the woman told me that CBS and directv agreed to a deal and I should have cbs (which I didnt). She then transfers me to tech support who tells me that CBS DID reach a deal, just not where I live. I'm almost to the point of getting spectrum, and paying for both services. Only reason I won't cancel directv is the Sunday Ticket. I can't be the only one in this boat?
  10. Wish I could watch the game. I HATE directv right now, and Ofcourse my antenna is not picking up channels at the moment
  11. To some degree I listen to one bills live every day, but after a while it can be brutal. Murphy can be an extreme Homer at times and Tasker needs adhd meds. I enjoy listening to Chris brown more than either of them and enjoy when he fills in. Although even he can be a huge Homer at times.
  12. Not to my knowledge. As far as I know, all pre season bills games are CBS, at least here in Rochester
  13. A bit off topic, but for those of us who currently don't have CBS cuz directv sucks, I noticed in my guide that the bills game next Thursday is showing on channel 212-1. Hope this helps anyone who might be wondering how to see the game
  14. Reading these kinds things makes u appreciate the current staff at one bills drive
  15. This might be the first bills text ingot and thought it was a coach. No idea who this dude even is
  16. Directv needs to get the it shiz figured out. Been a loyal customer for 9 years and if u call and ask them about these blackouts, it's a lot of "were working as hard as we can"
  17. I didn't read all the reply, but to the op, if it comes time for pre season/regular season games and we (I don't have these channels either) still don't have CBS or fox, YouTube TV has local channels. It's 50 bux a month, but I'll spend it if I have to, to watch the bills and the games on fox. Just an option
  18. Ya, once with the jets. Bengals were not good when he was with them, bills were not good, Houston was not good, titans were not good, Tampa was not good, and I highly doubt the Dolphins will be any good
  19. I feel bad for Fitz. He somehow ends up with bad teams, and the one team he started for that was good (2015 jets) he misses the playoffs by losing to his former team (bills). Though he's been paid alot so I don't feel THAT bad
  20. To add to this, it's hard for me to believe that the media, who is pretty critical of the bills, would rant and rave about Allen if he was legitimately holding the ball too long. I wasn't at camp today, only reading tweets, but I have to believe if the media guys were impressed by Allen, it's probably a pretty good thing
  21. I caught the 4th quarter of the game last night and couldn't believe Warrick still plays. He's 37. Still looks in his 20s though
  22. Training camp is one of those strange things. On one hand if your defense plays great, you worry about your offense, but if the offense plays great you worry about the defense. I think what we shoukd start to see is good and bad days for both sides
  23. If you listen to Chris brown on one bills live when he talks about the bills recievers, you'd think this is the best wide reciever group in NFL history. I like Chris brown alot, but sometimes his homerism comes out. He was saying a short while back that this group is almost uncoverable. Cmon, really? I think they're upgraded for sure, but time will tell how good they are
  24. That's a cool story. I wonder where they stay, like do they just rent hotels every night?
  25. 100 bucks bell isn't nearly as good as he was 2 years ago
