I actually thought in a similar way until the jags game happened. Now I realize they are who they are. Inconsistent. I said the other day on here that I'm not expecting any more wins and I'm gonna stick to it these next 5 games. Even if this team goes 3-2 the next 5 weeks and gets into the playoffs, how far are they realistically gonna get? Even if by some miracle they get to the afc championship game again, do they really have a chance to win? At this point I say no

I honestly dont think it has anything to do with schematic changes league wide. I think when you're not getting the ball to your best players (Diggs, Bease, Davis) on a regular basis, you're going to struggle. Let's use our upcoming opponent (Bucs) for example, they throw all the time are not known as a running team. The bills need to make a concerted effort to throw effectively to their best players

I've watched quite a bit of Bucs games this season as my wife is a pretty big Tom brady fan (I know I know). The bucs are totally beatable, but one thing I notice is that they tend to pull away in the 4th quarter alot. We could be up 10 at the start of the 4th quarter and it wouldn't surprise me if they put up 13 points in the 4th quarter to win it. Bills gotta be on their heels all game. Brady is his old(er) age is more prone to mistakes (see the terrible pick 6 he had vs Atlanta). If we can force Brady into alot of mistakes and hold our ground in the 4th quarter (and also not try and force our run game 🙄) I think we can pull off a win. Josh needs to throw 60 times in this game

I think I'm at the point where I'm not gonna expect the bills to win games. Having said that, the bucs havent played all that great this season. This is absolutely a winnable game, but again, I think from here on out my expectations are pretty low

Can you imagine prior to a game, an opponent coming into Buffalo and basically saying, we're going to run the ball every down for 4 straight quarters, and the bills can do whatever they want on offense ......and you lose that game. I need to forget about this game fast.

I think daboll has a rule - as soon as the bills offense gets to the red zone, they literally shut the play book and just have Allen chuck passes to the end zone. That what it seems the bills do. No screens, or mis direction, just chuck it to the endzone.

Our d line really isn't as bad as everyone says. As far as o line, I'm starting to wonder if it's coaching to an extent. We have young players on the o line who should be solid. I think one issue, and this falls on coaching, is the constant o line shuffling over the last few years. I don't think this helped in the long run. Having said that, the bills do need to upgrade it in next years draft or via free agency

There was a play last night (actually probably many) where the broadcast showed the replay and the Pats linemen litterally just pushed Edmunds to the side with little effort, running back runs by and gets a decent gain. Edmunds is just not that good. He's not terrible, but he's not a star. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because he's still pretty young, but he needs to step up

The "fire McDermott" posts are ridiculous, but alot of doom and gloom posts here are justified. Bills had 7 different chances last night to win the game Dawson dropping critical passes Diggs missing the deep pass in the endzone Breida fumble Allen missing Bease on the last play Bad coaching decisions etc etc Lots of bad stuff last night.

I agree if i was not a bills or Pats fan, that game woulda been tough to watch. Run after run is just boring. Plus the final score was 14-10, not exactly thrilling

Woke up today feeling the same way I felt after the game last night, which is I think we need to prepare ourselves for the bills not making the playoffs this season. Even if they do, how far are they gonna get? After last night I think my expectations dropped dramatically. I see 3 more wins for this team and who knows if 10-7 will get us in

Our run game isn't the problem, it's the run game play calls. How many times can we have a running back run straight up the middle
