Ya I don't really get why so many people think the Bengals will beat the titans. The Bengals had a close game with the raiders, who really arnt that good. Their defense is really not that great. I think people just wanna see a bills/Bengals afc championship game. Granted that'd be great to beat the Bengals at home and go to the superbowl

They were talking on wgr the other morning how Manning lost to Brady 6 times in the playoffs before finally beating him. This was surprising to me, but actually put things in perspective a little bit. It may taken Allen and the bills years to get over the hump of kc. Obviously I hope that's not the case, but I don't think the bills losing this Sunday is the end of the world. It'll be a big disappointment no doubt, but nobody should go jumping off a cliff Edit - I just realized I posted this in the wrong topic lol. Whatever though 😅

Are we/media setting ourselves up for a defensive battle?
Steptide replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ya that's my whole point of this thread. I think maybe we're setting ourselves up for possible dissapointment. Let's say the bills win 20-17, I could see fans over reacting saying "where was our offense from the Patriots game?" Well, that could happen too -

I would generally agree. However the Patriots/Rams superbowl in 2018 had a final score of 13-3, and that rams offense was crazy good that year. -
I think nfl fans and media want another Rams/Cheifs mnf game from a few years back. If you can't remember the game, it ended with the rams winning 54-51. 105 points total! Crazy. When it comes to the Bills and Cheifs this Sunday though, I wouldn't be terribly shocked if this game ended up with a final score of 20-17. Both teams are aware of each other's high powered offenses and I think defensively, both teams are gonna throw everything at each other that they can. I think this is where the bills have an advantage. I believe the bills secondary is better than the cheifs. If our corners can hold their own, I think we can pull this one out. Wouldn't be surprised one bit though if this game turns out to be a defensive slug fest

I definitely understand the point about losing to the Patriots, but I also feel like the bills just started playing how we've all wanted them to play this season. So if they lose Sunday, it'll really suck that the season is over. I also kinda feel like we'll never hear the end of "the bills can't get past kc" which will also be very annoying. I really have no idea what to expect Sunday. -
I'll say it over and over until the game is over, pressure the bleep out of Mahomes. He cracks under pressure. Remember the first game against Miami this season? That's what we need to do to Mahomes all game

Isn't weird (and awesome) that the "big" game this week is a game that has the bills and Tom Brady is 2nd tier?

Which team would you want to face in the Super Bowl?
Steptide replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
For some reason, I feel like Tampa would be our "easiest" superbowl win. I know Brady is still really good, but he doesn't look unbeatable. The eagles were getting pretty good pressure on him and he just collapses whenever pressure comes. -

This doesn't surprise me actually. I was thinking about last year when the Ravens beat the titans before they played the bills. It was a big, emotional win for them, kinda similar to us destroying the Patriots this past weekend. I have no doubt the bills can win this Sunday, just can't let the Patriots win linger. I know the Ravens didn't beat the titans by 30, just that it was a big win for them -

I work with a guy who is constantly saying Allen isn't good. I think there's just some people who just won't change their pre draft narrative. They thought he would suck, so they're just gonna stick to it no matter what. -

Didn't they blow it badly against the Bengals in week 17 also? -

There were a few plays Saturday where the bills secondary left some players wide open. The hunter Henry first down comes to mind and a few others. This game might see a team put up 50 points to win -

Bills need to pressure the bleep out of Mahomes. He struggles under pressure, even last night against the Steelers, he couldn't complete a pass when under pressure. I agree with whoever said it though, whoever wins this game will go to the superbowl -
I'll say again what I've been saying for a few weeks, it all comes down to daboll and how he calls this game. Last year, I thought our offense was underwhelming in the playoffs. There was a serious lack of creativity. Obviously that wasn't the case Saturday night against the Patriots, but we'll see what happens this Sunday. Daboll needs to keep using mckenzie for the run game and singletary for quick screens. I'd also consider using mckenzie in the slot as Bease hasent had a huge impact lately

I don't wear my bills shirts/apparel during games anymore. Felt like anytime I did we lost. I also avoid the game day threads on here for the same reason. Feel like we lose everytime I'm on here during games -

This was the game I was fearing. I know we can beat them, but I also know how good the cheifs are, especially in the playoffs.
