Thing is, income ISN'T supposed to be taxed. 16th ammendment. However that has just conveniently been over looked for eternity now. Edit - I should clarify a little. Only since early 1900s did the government tax income. Technically though, income was never meant to be taxed

Divisional Round: Buffalo at KC Sunday at 6:30

I keep reading cheifs fans on Twitter saying how the cheifs are getting no respect. Like really? National media has done nothing but slob all over the cheifs for the last 2 or 3 years. Now the bills are getting attention and cheifs fans are all butt hurt about it. -
Ooo Ya, govern me more daddy

I kinda hate that alot of national media are picking the bills. It's nice to finally have some recognition, but I don't like kc having any extra motivation. -
Well they gotta pay for all those stimulus's somehow 😅. They're actually going after venmo too. Starting this year, venmo transactions have to be reported to the irs. You can't expect the government to let money move without them getting a piece 🙄

Giants/Schoen interview Daboll for HC

It's gotta be weird to work for a team that is about to play a huge playoff game, and days before it, get hired by one of the worst teams in the NFL. I know he probably got a big pay raise and obviously being gm is a huge promotion, but there has to be a part of him that'll watch the game Sunday night and feel like he's still a bill. -
Syracuse and Duke today at noon. Always a good rivalry, but Duke is gonna destroy us

19? So like 2 tds, a fg and a safety?

Ya I don't really get why so many people think the Bengals will beat the titans. The Bengals had a close game with the raiders, who really arnt that good. Their defense is really not that great. I think people just wanna see a bills/Bengals afc championship game. Granted that'd be great to beat the Bengals at home and go to the superbowl
-
They were talking on wgr the other morning how Manning lost to Brady 6 times in the playoffs before finally beating him. This was surprising to me, but actually put things in perspective a little bit. It may taken Allen and the bills years to get over the hump of kc. Obviously I hope that's not the case, but I don't think the bills losing this Sunday is the end of the world. It'll be a big disappointment no doubt, but nobody should go jumping off a cliff Edit - I just realized I posted this in the wrong topic lol. Whatever though 😅

Are we/media setting ourselves up for a defensive battle?
Steptide replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ya that's my whole point of this thread. I think maybe we're setting ourselves up for possible dissapointment. Let's say the bills win 20-17, I could see fans over reacting saying "where was our offense from the Patriots game?" Well, that could happen too -

I would generally agree. However the Patriots/Rams superbowl in 2018 had a final score of 13-3, and that rams offense was crazy good that year. -
I think nfl fans and media want another Rams/Cheifs mnf game from a few years back. If you can't remember the game, it ended with the rams winning 54-51. 105 points total! Crazy. When it comes to the Bills and Cheifs this Sunday though, I wouldn't be terribly shocked if this game ended up with a final score of 20-17. Both teams are aware of each other's high powered offenses and I think defensively, both teams are gonna throw everything at each other that they can. I think this is where the bills have an advantage. I believe the bills secondary is better than the cheifs. If our corners can hold their own, I think we can pull this one out. Wouldn't be surprised one bit though if this game turns out to be a defensive slug fest

I definitely understand the point about losing to the Patriots, but I also feel like the bills just started playing how we've all wanted them to play this season. So if they lose Sunday, it'll really suck that the season is over. I also kinda feel like we'll never hear the end of "the bills can't get past kc" which will also be very annoying. I really have no idea what to expect Sunday. -
I'll say it over and over until the game is over, pressure the bleep out of Mahomes. He cracks under pressure. Remember the first game against Miami this season? That's what we need to do to Mahomes all game

Isn't weird (and awesome) that the "big" game this week is a game that has the bills and Tom Brady is 2nd tier?
