I'm starting to get over this loss. It sucks, but life goes on. I think we'll look back at these years and realize how amazing they are, even with the loss. We just watched 2 games (yesterday and the Pats) that may be the best 2 games in bills history. Yes we lost yesterday, but that game will be talked about for years to come and Allen's performance was historic. I know we all had the bills going to the sb had they won last night, but there was no gaurentee of that, and if we lost to the Bengals at home, that Imo would've been alot harder pill to swallow.

Isaiah McKenzie aka, Lil Dirty, sounds like he’s moving on

I say re sign mckenzie to fill beaselys role, sign devante Adams somehow and win a friggen superbowl. -
Upon further review...was Bass supposed to pop the kick up?
Steptide replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe this also and believe McDermott was protecting his player. Don't think it was ever meant to be kicked to the endzone. Either way, having the ball at the 25 with 13 seconds is a tall task, and the bills D failed miserably- 65 replies

Is Patrick Mahomes to Josh Allen what Jim Kelly was to Dan Marino
Steptide replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've stated it a few times and I'll keep saying it. It took Peyton Manning (one of the best qbs ever) 6 playoff matchups to beat Brady. Think about that. Can u imagine if Allen and Mahomes play one another 6 times in the playoffs and the bills lose 6 times? Just an example of how it goes sometimes. I will say though, that I don't think it'll take the bills that long to get to a superbowl -
Were talking a bit on wgr this morning about how last year in the afc championship game the bills were not aggressive enough on offense, and how this year they wernt aggressive enough on defense, and I agree. The entire game was really a pathetic showing for the defense. You would've thought the Chiefs players covered themselves in grease the way the bills were missing tackles

It's honestly not a bad idea. Put 8 or 10 mins on the clock in ot, and there's no pat's, just 2 point conversions after touchdowns

Anybody welcome the team back from the airport?

I saw something on Twitter. Looked like there was about 10 fans waiting -
Lots of talk on Twitter about changing ot rules, and I agree whole heartedly and have for years. I can't believe at one point all you needed in ot was a field goal

I body slammed my wife's pug when we scored the last td. No idea what the announcers were even saying

What's the unsportsmanlike conduct that shoulda been called?

I think if daboll leaves, which seems inevitable, whoever our new oc is will use Gabe the way we all want him to be used. It's still boggling to me that Diggs wasn't even a factor last night. I know kc probably planned to keep him out of the game, but he's our best offensive weapon and he had 7 yards. As crazy as it sounds, the bills shoulda had 7 tds again last night. But, the defense was really the bills Achilles heal

Only ways this loss would have hurt more...
Steptide replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've been trying to think of what would be worse, losing this game last night, or getting to the superbowl and losing. Obviously most would say losing in the superbowl, but I'm not sure. Getting to the superbowl is an accomplishment, even if it is a loss. I think what hurts most is knowing that most likely we would've beat Cinci next week and at home. The celebration would've just been unreal -
It was a great game, but you as a kc fan have had the last 2 years in the super bowl, and most likely this year again. I appreciate you being a classy kc fan, but you can't imagine the pain us bills fans are in today. Good luck the rest of the way.

Well, reading Twitter and these threads, you'd think the bills were the only team that lost this weekend. 4 teams this weekend all lost in the final seconds. It hurts, but it's the NFL and the bills will win a superbowl with allen.
-
Just goes to show you that you can have superbowl winning coaches that still do head scratching things.
-
All of the playoff losers this weekend, and all lost in heart breaking fashion. Bucs pulled off a miracle comeback, only to lose with 40 seconds left. Green Bay... Cmon, that was just as bad the 13 seconds for us. We unfortunately were on the wrong side of victory. It's gonna hurt for a bit.

Honestly what do you do moving forward?
Steptide replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
Get a star linebacker and pass rusher. Edmunds is good depth, but he's not a game changer or even worthy of his draft status. I know he's young still, but he has almost zero impact. Also, get a good number 2 corner. Wallace is decent, but we need to add good depth at that position. Lastly, maybe never play prevent defense ever again -
I've been on Twitter all morning trying to make myself feel better. I'm still shocked at the amount of national media and other nfl players talking about Allen (in a good way). You'd barely know the cheifs even played last night. Allen became a household name last night

Once we get over this sting, I honestly don't think we'll see this game as one of the worst in bills history. The bills came back and took the lead. Yes, we'll forever question those last 13 seconds, but what Allen and Davis did on those last 2 tds was nothing short of miraculous. I would almost make the argument that the Houston playoff game a few years ago was worse due to the fact that we had a 16 point lead. Difference is, the expectations were so much higher this year

Why All The Clean Releases For Kelce and Hill?
Steptide replied to Bleedbuffaloblue's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know it kinda worked, but I don't know why the bills are so anti blitz against Mahomes. He is bad under pressure -
I have no doubt daboll will be hired as a head coach, Frazier on the other hand.... I just can't imagine a team watchjng those last 13 seconds on defense and a team being like "Ya let's hire that defensive coordinator!"

Just woke up and I wanna cry litterally

How many chances does McDermott have left?
Steptide replied to Igotbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Was just making the point that we don't need to fire McDermott because we lost this game. It happens. We're built to win and it's hard to believe Allen won't win us a superbowl. Just sucks it isn't this year
