With the technology we have today, I can't believe the nfl doesn't have people in the booth that can go back and look at these plays and instantly call a penalty on the field. I understand that refs arnt gonna catch every single thing, but when it comes to this kind of thing, and the play with allen, it shoukd be reviewed and called immediately

Completely off topic, but it's surprising to me that this kind of thing doesn't happen more in ufc and boxing, but especially ufc. The brain trauma has to be outstanding

I say push playoffs back a week to get the bills/Bengals played. Given the situation, I think teams would understand. It'd only give the 2 superbowl teams a week to prepare, but in all honestly I don't think it'd be that big a deal. Nobody cares about the pro bowl anyway

The throw to Bease on 3rd down was huge. Cost us 7 points. I was upset they didn't go for it. Felt like the score was about to be 14 - 3. Not sure why the bills defense wasnt covering the middle of the field.

Agree. I can see Goodell sitting in his office slamming his fist on the desk. I Garentee he'll do everything in his power to keep the nfl on schedule

I agree, and I've been through some of that with my dad and his heart attacks. Having said that though, if the team and fans get good news regarding hamlin, the team could potentially rally around that. I'm just thinking out loud here, but I'd imagine if a family member was in hamlins condition, and then my family gets great news that that family member is going to be ok, that completely changes the mood. I dunno. Just putting thoughts out there

So if the game ends up being played, do they start it in the middle of the 1st quarter? Or do they start from scratch and play 4 full quarters?

Nfl isn't gonna cancel the rest of the season, and honestly I think that'd be ridiculous if they did. Yes, they have to figure out the bills/Bengals game and what will happen, but they arnt canceling the season.

I agree. That's why I hope they can rally and get back to "normal". This team and coaching staff are a strong bunch and think they'll rally when the time is right

My hope today is that good news comes regarding Hamlin and that they can get back to playing football. I don't say that as a selfish football fan that wants to see my team play, I say that because I want everything to go back to normal as much as possible. I have no doubt that this bills team will rally around this. It's not about being the one seed or winning the super bowl at this moment, it's about Hamlin being ok. Once we get word he's ok, I absolutely believe this will light a fire in this team.

I say give both teams a win. Wouldn't that theoretically keep all the standings the same?

It's weird, I feel more emotional about this, this morning than I was last night. Did not sleep well or much at all.

Totally speculating, but seeing as they were planning to go home afyer the game, they may not have anywhere to go. Maybe the team is trying to find a hotel or wait for their flight home

I think when it comes to our fans, we're just trying to not set ourselves up for dissapontment. At least I know I am. I know the bills are good enough to beat the Bengals, but I keep reminding myself we haven't locked down the one seed yet
