I can see 2026 now, the Bills coming off another year of not making the playoffs, now making 3 years in a row.
The Bills still rolling out McDermott as their head coach. First game ever at a new stadium not being a sellout.
All because they were happy McDermott helped break the drought.
Was the process worth it?
Most Billsy thing would be to lose every remaining game including Patriots and bring back McDermott next year. I know some fans would be perfectly fine with it.
What about 12 men on the field and :13 seconds, those aren't just bounces of the football and bad luck. Those are criminally negligent decisions at the top.
The viking also don't have a generational unicorn as their QB. This Bills team should be competing for a Super Bowl victory every year. But no we're not, we can't even make the SB with McDermott as the head coach. This team now guided by McDermott is just competing to make the playoffs. Welcome to purgatory, but this time we have the QB just not the HC.
This team isn't going 5-0, especially when these games will all be close and McDermott's decision making will be in the spotlight again.
I'm guessing conservative coaching on defense will be his downfall again...Allen will probably get the lead late in KC, and McDermott's defense will fold.
It sure seems we are living in a matrix and it's the same story every week.
Dude I've been listening to everyone lol, from myself, to local and national media, to friends, to season ticket holders, to my dad... One constant I've been hearing is McDermott should be fired.
