  1. Is the quote they posted false?
  2. and John Wawrow said they did. Listen, this is a non-story except for the small vocal minority here that insists on trying to prove a narrative that they never made an offer for reasons. It's pretty clear that they did, just as it's pretty clear it's now irrelevant. This staff views playmaking RB as a need going back to last offseason and they clearly still do in spite of drafting Cook. That's the story. Kinda like your sources that "heard" the bills didn't make "serious" or "hard" offers, whatever that means.

  4. So they made an offer, but wasn't a "serious" or "hard" offer. But it was an offer, right?
  5. Again, that doesn't disprove my point. It's well understood what CMC went for. If we could have afforded him long term, we robably would have done what was necessary, but the Bills were either looking for a half season rental or controlled contract. That quote does not mean we didn't make an offer, just that the offer wasn't up to the competition. We were clearly very interested or we wouldn't have made an offer at all. I think it's more about RBs that can help us get TDs. Both Hunt and Jacobs would be upgrades for tough yards. CMC would have done the same but in different ways
  6. I don't believe that at all. What SF gave up was a lot - too much. However, just because we didn't match that doesn't mean it wasn't a serious offer. We were linked to CMC for a LONG time. I'm guessing they offered a 2 and 4.
  7. 3 TDs on the day so far 😲
  8. You shouldn't. It's just more societal norm nonsense that has no real meaning in a vacuum. It's pretty cut and dry for me. Tom is a football player. He was a football player when they got together. If she's leaving him because he continues to be a football player, she isn't worth keeping around. There are plenty of people the guy could have a relationship with that would be more loyal. If ALL this really came down to is whether or not he should keep playing football, he didn't make a choice about keeping their marriage together, she did. He just did as he's always done. Chances are good though that football was just a cover. Just like he isn't "some blue collar guy", she's isn't some simple stay at home wife either. She's not waiting up on Sunday nights with a cold meatloaf waiting for him to come home. Marriages at this level are business partnerships. Once they stop being beneficial to both parties, you move on. It really shouldn't be a big deal at all.
  9. Cards over Vikes.
  10. Sorry, but you've got this exactly backwards. Any wife that leaves you because of you doing your job for one more year isn't loyal enough to keep around. It's better that he found out now that she was this petty. If she would leave him over his playing football, she'd 100% find another ultimatum down the road. Why act like "family" is such a big deal? It's a weird fascination that's supposed to make everybody stop and judge others.
  11. Do they have google where you live? What could possibly be an ethical dilemma here? I never said it was "allowed". I took umbrage with tossing additional meaning on top of it. There are plenty of things that aren't allowed according to the CBA. That doesn't make a player "dirty". Honestly it just comes off as childish.
  12. We're rationalizing it, because if we went through the same surgery, there's a non-zero chance we could be prescribed the same thing by our doctors. Using HGH for injury rehabilitation is not even remotely the same thing as taking steroids to hit home runs. Also, all of this is moot because the NFL found no supporting evidence anyway.
  13. Fingers crossed for what? Are they gonna suspend him?
  14. So in your mind, if he was using medicine to recover from injury, that makes him dirty? Give me a break.

  16. Yea, I'm serious. He was arguably the 2nd best QB to ever play the game behind Brady and that was solidified before he ever joined the Broncos. His stats the year before he got hurt are nearly identical to 2/3 of those that came after he went to the Broncos. A team that had a much more loaded roster than most of what he had in Indy. Is it possible that he was taking something for his neck? Sure. I think it's ridiculous to suggest he was "juicing" though. Peyton has had the body of a 50 year old man since he was 20.
  17. They don't have a QB under contract for next season and have a team built to compete. Do with it what you will.
  18. That good scheme doesn't involve their QB play. Jones is in the last year of his deal. If Daboll is smart, he'll draft a 1st rd QB and not marry himself to a scrub like Jones. Brady could be brought in as a win-now guy while the rookie comes up to speed.
  19. Carolina, NY Giants, Colts, Saints, Falcons, maybe more they should really consider opening it up, especially for rehab and injury purposes. The dude had major spine surgery. I'm not sure what you think he got away with.
  20. Yes, but the league is highly competitive right now in favor of the teams who have recently made it. In order for us to make it, they'll likely have to beat out a very good team.
  21. Why should they be? The whole thing is basically just a societal norm/tradition with little modern applicability if you don't believe in it. It's not like there's a tax benefit for them. My GF and I have been together for 12 years.
  22. He's done both. Why are you going out of your way to stan for scumbags over and over? You did the same thing in the Araiza thread too.
  23. Again, not sure why this is relevant to anything. He has a history of violence against strangers, men and women alike. What point are you trying to make by insisting that they weren't romantic/domestic disputes?
