  1. Regardless, I'll take it. This is the best day of my soon to be 31 year old life. I still want a lot of people on this team gone, and I think the Bengals deserve the lions share of the credit, but none of that matters. The curse is broken, and I don't have to live every day with that hanging over my head anymore. Being from Buffalo finally isn't strictly a punchline anymore and that feels great.
  2. As unfortunate and sad as it is, that honor goes to Doug Marrone, or Sean McVay
  3. I'm not a Tyrod hater at all. I like him a lot (bought his jersey), just not as my starting QB anymore. I'm more than happy to blame it on how he was coached, but that's neither here nor there. He just isn't good enough and I'm more than happy to provide evidence why to anyone who disagrees. It doesn't seem you're in that camp though, so I'm not sure why this thread is still going. If there was a world where taylor could stay here the rest of his career as a backup gadget player, I'd love that scenario, but it's not possible.
  4. Our rushing game certainly has fallen off big time.
  5. Maybe not. What I can tell you is that it's a virtual guarantee Taylor had no chance to beat NE barring a career worst day from Brady. Now, who knows? I can talk myself into a scenario where we get a couple turnovers and Peterman has a big day.
  6. By that time we were already getting destroyed. It should say something that Taylor's unanimous best game as a Bill (seattle) was yet another 4th quarter loss where he couldn't get the job done.
  7. The Bills are ranked 22nd in the league in offensive DVOA, leading the pack of the worst offenses in the league. That's simply not good enough. The good thing is McDermott finally sees it too. http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teamoff
  8. That's not what i did. I didn't bash Taylor for just last week at NO. I bashed him for 5 wins and 4 losses. It's probably a cold fact that we win last week with very few QBs and no other changes. That said, this Defense gifted Taylor 5 wins this year that he didn't do much of anything to claim for himself. I'll repeat it here: give me one of the top 20 QBs in this league and this team is 8-1. Taylor has been **** all season.
  9. And that's not sustainable. This is a talent bereft defense. If you're expecting them to go out and shut down opposing teams running a cover 2 with a bunch of rookies and journeymen, you're dreaming. The best we can hope for is a D that forces an offense to take a lot of time to move the ball, and tackles well. An improved offense helps that. To drastically improve your defense you need a bunch of new players, a new scheme and maybe a new coach. To get a drastically better offense/team you just need to throw a better guy under center. It's really that simple. Better offense production rarely presents the opportunity for an opponent to accumulate that yardage. Facts are we possessed the ball 18 to 42 minutes for NO. If we built drives it would not have been possible for them to embarrass us the way they did.
  10. A good QB can make a defense a lot better. We had the top defense in the league through 5 weeks. They don't suck all of a sudden, they're just really gd tired from being on the field all game every week.
  11. I think they're going to be caught flat footed by the pass a bit, considering everything they know about the Bills is a Tyrod led team. If we hit a few more guys in stride, get more yac, and start getting some chunk plays, you'll see them generally scrambling - which is all McCoy needs. If Peterman exploits the pass, Shady's best days as a Bill are ahead of him.
  12. The thing I've railed on Tyrod for is that he doesn't give this team a chance to win. Unless the other team comes unprepared or our guys just have a day, they know when and where shady's getting the ball, and they know Tyrod won't give our defense rest. I'm extremely confident that changes. Peterman doesn't have to be Brady, he just has to be Alex Smith.
  13. I'm going to go 200 2 TDs and a pick 22/28, but I think the thing that matters is that he's directly responsible for opening up a huge game for shady. I think this team will look top shelf this week.
  14. Ive been saying this since week 12 last year, and was basically ex-communicated as a real Bills fan. If I knew something they didn't, why wasn't I working for the Bills? Seems like I have a few phone calls to make...
  15. Hey all, just wanted to check in and see how this thread's doin'
  16. I don't argue with people that can't read.
  17. The tax proposal drops it to 33%
  18. How do you You seriously don't remember Bryan Scott? He was awesome. Always did everything he was asked, and he didn't play MLB, he played outside LB sometimes.
  19. Why is that? I say we won exactly zero games off of Taylors play and each we lost, except NO, was directly a result of his being unable to move the football. Assuming that Peterman was not an utter dumpster fire, I'd expect him to convert the same turnovers into field goals that Taylor did, plus pick up another first down or two. It's really not a stretch.
  20. We possessed the ball 18 minutes to their 42... 18 minutes... Say it with me EIGHTEEN MINUTES. The best defense is a good offense. They cant score if they dont have the ball, and we beat 0 teams in the NFL with 3 points. ZERO. If Taylor drops 35 and we still get blown out I'll listen to your argument about defense, but as it is they already gifted Taylor 5 wins this year he didnt deserve. I would say we're 8-1 with Peterman under center. Loss to the saints.
  21. I take it you didnt read the plan. Go check it out, from any source you wish and let me know what you find. Hint. He'll save a minimum of $1.6M per year on salary alone and a minimum of $200M lifetime via the Estate Tax.
  22. McDermott: "Tyrod is our QB" GTFO and don't let the door hit you.
  23. Guys, I stand corrected. Taylor is the real deal. Stats, wins, and the eye test don't matter. better extend him right now before the bidding starts.
  24. He's a white Polish guy?
