The head of sales at my company is married to a woman from Rochester and he spends quite a bit of time there. The first time I met him it came up and we talked for about 15 minutes. Professionally, there seems to be something unique and memorable to others about being a Bills fan/from Buffalo. A lot of folks at various companies have called me "Buffalo", but I've never seen it happen with someone from Chicago, San Francisco, or Des Moines. Not sure what it is, but I'll take it.

Well i agree on that. I've long believed premier left tackles were ridiculously overrated. What's more is that you line is only as good as it's worst player. It gives you nothing to have the best tackle and center to play the game if your guards are Vlad ducasse and John Miller, so you have to have 5 good ones if you want your line to make up for deficiency elsewhere. It's like when people talk about having a great D. It's pointless to try to win with defense unless you have a top 5 all-time elite defense (seahawks, broncos, Bucs, Ravens, 85 bears etc). It's much more efficient to load your offense with skill talent and create a gameplan that exploits weaknesses of the D that you play. If the Bills want to take O-line at the top of the draft, I'd rather they trade down a couple times and get 3-4 of them in the second round, than 1 at the top.

Look, I'm done with Peterman, but Anderson is no better at this point in his career. We all should have seen that last week. All things being equal, I'd rather they start a 24 year old that still might have some sort of future than a 35 year old that's barely had a past.
