Dropped first Down Nate high-points Benjamin for a big gain and a first down. He's Got it! https://photos.app.goo.gl/WXZ2JPgpnEUPGe9n9 Oh wait, no he doesn't: https://photos.app.goo.gl/jx1PLpk9ZCE2sUsg9 Pick #1 Same thing again on the first pick. Nate sees KB and throws a touch pass downt he field to his 6'5 WR who will definitely jump up to catch the ball that's in the air the whole time he's crossing the field. https://photos.app.goo.gl/f8YHy9u8p829FivA8 Oh wait, no he doesn't https://photos.app.goo.gl/Fq15qXSARn2AK1Eh7 Pick #2 Surely a slant route will allow my 6'5 WR to use his size to position himself against far smaller secondary personnel to catch this ball right in his breadbasket https://photos.app.goo.gl/hJSu5hJyRpXrjkj19 Hmm that's weird. KB doesn't wall off a guy he's got 5 inches and 30 LBs on. That's fine. I'm sure he'll contest the pass. https://photos.app.goo.gl/xdmJPY16WUFvMpAS8 Oh KB, you sly dog. You did it again. You had me fooled that time. https://photos.app.goo.gl/muTWpXop79RkyQ1n8 Summary In a league of contested passes and needing to use every advantage you have in speed, size and timing, KB uses his advantages about the same way Tyler Myers did when he was here. He plays like a guy half his size with 1/4 the effort. if I wanted to put in the effort I could find another few that were every bit as bad, but I know this post will get no critical thought from any detractors anyway. -

Yea, I know your bias won't let you believe it's true but both interceptions were on Benjamin. Clear as day. A decent receivers catches both, and probably even has a big gain on the second one. He didn't even try to catch them and just shied away from the ball. -

If I had access to the game footage I'd take a screen shot of Benjamin doing basically the same thing on both picks. -

What I'm trying to say is that there's a really strange double standard going on here where the same facts are being used to trash one player and praise another who had pretty similar results. They both played poorly, but their WRs were worse than both of them, the O-line was awful, they couldn't and didn't run and the defense was a sieve. The entire team around both QBs was a constant. They performed the same start to finish. The QBs were the only variable on the Bills side and neither had any success. What I'm also saying is the minute edge that Allen had in production should be considered with respect that the Ravens had their defensive stars on the sidelines. I'm super confused how one guy was trash and the other "must absolutely start" based off the same results. -

It's hard listening to things outside your echo chamber, I get it. -

against 3rd stringers. For whatever reason they also refused to run the ball in the first half. i think McCoy had 2 carries for -1 yards. -

Did I miss the part where the WRs started playing more poorly after Allen came in? The EXACT SAME THING happened in the first half, arguably worse, but that's just because the QB was bad. No one caught a thing, and Benjamin was jogging short-arming passes the whole game. The biggest difference was that the first half was against a starting unit trying to win, but by the fourth quarter it was a glorified 5th preseason game. It's so bizarre to me that the first half blame is on the QB, but the second half is on the WRs when the WRs didn't change, and their play didn't decrease. They were awful start to finish. If that tipped pass to Logan Thomas goes for a pick that's on him, but the slant route right to Benjamin who got outworked is just another pick for a QB we hate. -

Is that the one where you were dead wrong after trying to convince me that I had no idea what i was talking about? I deal with a lot of misinformed conversations in my life - can't keep track of them all -

Allen fans: explain to me what you loved about watching this? I just see a lot of fastballs outside the strike zone. -

The Silver Lining : Josh Allen is very good.

How good is Cam Newton? He makes flashy plays and costs his team a lot of games. He has 3 winning Seasons out of 7. He's the type of QB that's good enough to keep on your team for 15 years while you never win a damn thing, but he's too good to dump. I'm glad he's not here. -

And Mahomes threw for 11,000 yards and 93 TDs to Allen's 5,000 and 44. He also had every physical tool that Allen did, except he knew how to execute. 10x the prospect. He just needed to learn a pro system. -

Do I believe Josh Allen is a bad football player that was extremely expensive to acquire? Yes, yes I do. NP was essentially free. If he flamed out you could always get another guy. This staff, all of our schemes, and the entire roster is dependent on a raw rocket armed passer that couldn't put a dent in the Mountain West. The game looks like it's going a million miles an hour for him. His arm is Lamar Jackson's legs, and neither have what it takes to be NFL QBs. -

Me supporting Peterman is the default because of the dumpster fire that is Josh Allen. If we had Rosen, Mayfield, Darnold or even Rudolph you could kick Peterman to the curb and I wouldn't say a thing about it. I watched a team gamble the farm on Ricky Vaughn and he's going to set this team back 5 years. We went from being close to contending to running an Al Davis strategy, and this staff and our team is going to pay for it. -

Decent fan-fiction usually has to be based on some sort of reality to get off the ground. Wish you the best on your fantasy story though. -
Allen had nearly an entire half, mostly against backups, and didn't do any better. How does he get such blind confidence from folks that he's going to be any sort of improvement? He needs to sit and practice if he's going to have any hope of living up to the ridiculous expectations that people have for him. He's going to become the next David Carr if he starts this year.
