  1. That's the crazy part. They thought Allen was worth way more than Watson, who was as close to a lock to be a good NFl QB as there is, and Mahomes, who while viewed as a similar project to Allen had The same or better measurables with a far more prolific college career. I'm just not sure how you make that decision a year out when a great QB just falls in your lap when you obviously need one. It's over an done with now, but on paper it's an all-time mishandling of draft value.
  2. I would completely believe he has a couple of sick 3 digits multi-touchdown games. In my eyes, our hopes for this year have to rest on a guy like Foster, who has all the tools and has shown flashes, with guys like Beasley and Brown playing complimentary roles as they've typically done throughout their careers. It lines up with very low production numbers, so take from it what you will.
  3. Or Watson. As good as White is, with either of those picks we'd already be a lock for a wildcard.
  4. Cool. I'm rooting for the guy, because I need to. I'm just not under any sort of illusion that he's going to have elite or even better than top 30-ish WR season
  5. He has dealt with hamstring issues every year except last year that has affected his productivity in each season. He may suit up for games an average amount, but expect him to be banged up and not produce. In addition he had a pretty bad concussion a few years back and he has sickle-cell anemia. But yea, #Roasted Evidence for his ailments for those that didn't follow it when it was happening: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BrowJo02.htm After breaking out his sophomore year starting 11 games and breaking 1000 yards with 7 TDs, his next two seasons with the cardinals: 6 GS 517 yrds 2 TDs 5 GS 299 yrds 3 TDs That's a big reason he only got a 1 year deal from BAL. If you're expecting much more than 650 yards and 5 TDs from him, you're expecting him to be something he's not, in my opinion.
  6. A 29 year old WR with one 1000 yard, 7TD season and a long injury history is our top wideout. Sweet.
  7. I think it does. He's turned into a pretty damn good receiver late in his career playing on some really bad teams. I think he gives us a bona-fide red zone threat where we've really struggled for a lot of years, and probably could be had very cheaply.
  8. Apparently Ngakoue balked at a $17.5M/year deal. That's a lot of cap % to pay for ~10 sacks a year.
  9. I mean his first 2 years were better than Reed's first two years and he played half of his first season hurt. He's also averaged more YPG than reed over his career. Different era's yada, yada but Watkins is far from the bum many on this board would like to believe. His career has been largely derailed by injuries, but the talent and production has always been there when healthy. I think he'll play a massive role for the chiefs this year.
  10. Or Lee Smith. If the season started today, Yeldon might be the best back on the team.
  11. We still have a bottom 5 unit in the NFL. Maybe bottom 3. If John Brown is better than your #2 WR, you have a weak group.
  12. We have zero LB depth ,and one of them are bound to get nicked up. I'd love to have foster, and he'd be cheap.
  13. Male reporters, especially successful ones often look like river trolls. The only difference is you're older and have adopted a "kid's these days" perception. The world doesn't change as much as you think it does.
  14. I've literally never thought that about anyone. No offense, but you kind of seem like a douche.
  15. Unless one of McCoy or Gore implodes, I could see buffalo trainers hiding mats all around Devin Singletary's house with the hopes of saving him for next year. Unless it becomes clear he's going to become a league leader, I don't see him being a necessary piece this year. If the Bills are serious about keeping all of these guys, they've really put themselves in a bind somewhere on this roster. Maybe DiMarco is finally done?
  16. It's not just gymnastics, but it's factually wrong. I am under no legal obligation to allow you to have your voice heard, and I can use any legal means at my disposal to prevent it if I want to. A non-government owned facility is in the same boat. If this forum, facebook, twitter or your local newspaper decided that they wanted to censor specifically you and your opinions, that is not at all illegal. I'm a staunch defender of the first amendment and strongly believe in listening to dissenting opinions as long as they have merit, but in order to do that we need to be explicitly clear about what free speech is and what it is not. Various media outlets (and political figures) have blurred the lines as to what free speech is in recent years, but factually there's a very clear line between government entities (The FCC) and private individuals/companies (Facebook/Twitter, etc.) even when they are publicly traded. Edit: you can consider it bad form, or unethical for a company to censor your opinions or gate the boundaries of discussion, but there's no legal merit to it in most cases as long as it doesn't discriminate against a protected class.
  17. No, it's really not. You don't have the right to say whatever you want, and you certainly don't have the right to do it without consequences. You just have the right not to be imprissioned or sanctioned by the government for it.
  18. He's a professional athlete, I'm sure he has more than his fair share of hanger-ons. Also, if I was a pro athlete I'd buy in bulk too. I wouldn't exactly want to be popping down to a dealer on a weekly basis.
  19. 5 ounces is really not that much at all. Personal consumption is completely realistic here, especially if he entertains. Thats's a completely legal amount in a lot of places that have legalized. $1000 street value/$500 from a dispensary.
  20. I don't, but it hovers between 95-110 down here the whole time, so that's why. The other 9 months of the year are pretty great. I'll always have a place in my heart for bitter cold snowy days, though.
  21. I see a lot of Jay Cutler so far, but it's early. Elway would be in that line but it's a bit early for that.
  22. Am I the only one that kinda likes Mike Schopp? he does a pretty good job with quality content, but most of the callers to WGR are completely terrible. His interviews with bills players and coaches is usually solid, and he typically doesn't shy away from tough questions.
