  1. From what I've seen you post, I'll take that as a compliment.
  2. So, you have the chiefs that right now look like the second coming of the Pats dynasty, and you still have the Pats. The Steelers have reloaded. The Browns look as though they have every reason to believe they will ascend to the upper tier of the conference. The Chargers are still tough to play until the postseason. The Jags should now have a competent offense to go with an incredible defense. Luck has bounced back and the Indy D is starting to look really good for the first time in a decade The Jets should have every reason to believe they can be our equal or better Until something significant changes, the Bills are still fighting for a wildcard at best. If it takes an "expert" to see that, my apologies.
  3. He sweeps the Pats and I'll buy his Jersey that night.
  4. Yea, you're going to just roll over the AFC? mkay. Do you follow any team that isn't this one?
  5. Josh was better after his injury, but he was also really bad before it. The things he's always had problems with remained problems, but the game did slow down for him a bit. As to his pre-season performance, I've said over and over again that it's encouraging. I like the changes to his short game, but we've seen a lot of pre-season heroes come through these parts. When the game isn't played at full speed it's hard to say whether or not it's real.
  6. Based on what? I'm hopeful that the guy can become a competent NFL QB, but that's all it really can be at this point - hope. The preseason has been encouraging, but if it were any other QB the Bills have trotted out it would be "it's preeeeeeeseason". So far he's been pretty much the same player he was when he was drafted, and he has to prove he can grow significantly from that. That Josh Allen wasn't good enough to win in the Mountain West and we need him to win in the AFC East and in a now loaded conference that looks like it will be extremely tough for the foreseeable future.
  7. Aren't you forgetting the pick we used to draft him?
  8. Pretty much where I stand with him. There are many inferior talents that are far superior QBs in the league right now, but I've never been a fan of crafting QBs out of stone. Other positions, absolutely. Go get the guy that can run a 4.2 40 and jump over a moving car. QBs are different and so much of the teams success rests on their shoulders.
  9. I don't. I want very desperately to be wrong. He's looked improved in the pre-season. If the touch he's shown on short passes can continue to develop and shows itself when throwing down the field, then he'll be on the right track.
  10. HitMeBeebeOneMoreTime Forgot About Tre
  11. I completely agree and have said this for years. it's insane to me that when a "prospect with potential" is drafted high it's worth it, but then a guy goes out and proves he's a stud, like Randy Moss, and he gets traded for a 4th, twice. For every guy that turns into a superstar there's 10 guys that range between Aaron Maybins, Donte Whitner, Spiller, McCargo, etc. I would trade my first round pick for a superstar every single year, regardless of position as long as it didn't cause a cap problem. And if a team wants to trade you an inexpensive proven vet for a 2nd 3rd, I'd do it every time.
  12. KC is as good as any team could hope to be as long as Hill can keep himself out of jail and Damien Williams wasn't just a one hit wonder. If anyone was going to go 19-0, I think these guys are on par with the '07 Patriots. I think the NFC North will be the best division in football this year, and I could see a situation where all 4 of them have an 8-8 or better record. I think you're way off on the lions. They have some pretty sick talent in Golladay and I think Kerryon Johnson will break out. Stafford has alwasy been a very good QB, and if they can get improved Defensive play they'll be a tough team to play against. I don't have the bears falling off, and think that GB and the Vikings will bounce back very strong. The SF take is also a bit weak. 9-7 or better. Seahawks finish in 3rd place in that division with their RB by committee, no offensive playmakers not named Wilson, and a somehow still aging defense now minus Earl Thomas. I think they win 5 games and Pete Carroll retires/gets fired
  13. These logos look like they paid designers with exposure.
  14. Depends on the company I'm keeping. My ancestors liked to pass it around it seems.
  15. We bury it deep down, go our separate ways and pretend this never happened.
  16. I don't disagree with any of that. I think I'm just a little more bullish on them and a bit more conservative on us.
  17. Why do you think the Jets are really bad? What makes them any worse than our guys at this point? The have a QB that most (outside of Buffalo) looks better than ours right now, they signed CJ Mosely (who is an absolute beast) and they have Leveon Bell? They have every reason to think their D should be int he same tier as ours Their WR group is probably close to equal or a little under Their O-line has a little more proven talent, but call it a wash Their QB probably is probably a small step ahead of ours Their RB situation is way better than ours I think the betting line of having this game be an even spread (including home field) is exactly where it should be right now.
  18. Last I checked, there were 23 of them.
  19. "Is Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott on the hot seat entering 2019? In a word-No." So...?
  20. I agree with you on Jackson. As of right now I don't think Jackson looks like a long term starter, but outside of Buffalo, I think a lot of folks think the same about Allen due to his accuracy issues and I've got a foot half in that camp.
  21. I wouldn't, but Jackson is now looked at on par or above Allen nationally.
  22. Yeldon, Murphy, and Perry might know how to do things that he can't - they just happen to be bad at them. None of those players have an ounce of untapped potential. They've hit their ceiling as fringe NFL talent. This kid hasn't even begun to scrape the surface. That's the difference. He was one of the best in the world in Rugby, and is showing how some of those skills translate to the NFL I'll take potential over proven mediocrity any day for a 4th string player. None of them are likely to play anyway, so why do you care so much?
  23. It's been reported to be minor. probably just a scope. https://sports.yahoo.com/dk-metcalf-knee-surgery-seahawks-carroll-041348918.html a lot of these guys don't have the opportunity to take care of lingering things in college
  24. Who else is making plays against guys that won't be on 53 man rosters? He can only take advantage of the opportunities he's given. If he did it against the #1's would you say it's only pre-season? Speed and quickness don't care who the opposition is.
