  1. I love Wegmans, but there's a lot of competition out there. Central Market caters a bit more towards the high end market, but it's definitely a better store and I think Publix is really good too.
  2. I don't think it's disastrous yet either, but any or all of Phillips, Johnson, Neal could fail to make the roster and it wouldn't be a huge shock.
  3. We've drafted one superstar, in White over the last 4 years and that was either McDermott or Whaley, probably a combination. We drafted two other starters that year in Milano and Dawkins who almost certainly came off Whaley's Big Board, because there's no way McD could have known enough about those guys, though he could have picked them over others. As for Beane, he drafted Allen and Edmunds, who are both still unknowns at this point, Oliver and Ford who are also unknowns and Singletary, who looks like a good player. Based on the kind of Player Epenesa is, I think it's probably unlikely he becomes a 3 down monster, and I think the story is probably the same with Moss. 3 of 8 from 2018 are no longer on the Bills and you could potentially see all but Allen and Edmunds gone before opening day. It isn't disastrous drafting but it's really not great. I see average as fair.
  4. It's funny, we get reminded every september about that time where 3000 people died 20 years ago and it's a tragedy. We held hearing after hearing about 4 people that died in a warzone trying to find out what happenbed and was there someone we could blame. 140,000 Americans drop dead in 4 months and an unknown amount are left disabled and others needing organ transplants, and it's "oh, well that's life". Can we get some of those Vietnam Veteran hats at least?
  5. Hey has gifts for sure, but he's yet to establish himself as a consistent threat. I watched him play a ton as I made big bets on him for fantasy last year and he killed me. He had a handful of monster games and would completely disappear for weeks at a time and he wasn't the kind of player that got better when you were behind like Nuke is. He can definitely turn the corner this season, though.
  6. This is exactly how I view Diggs. A really nice player, but more of an elite number 2. I see him as a bit of a Brandin Cooks clone or the ultimate version of John Brown. I just don't think he has the physical tools to ever be that #1 guy. That said, I'm not really interested in getting in a fight over it. We had the same conversation last year about how John brown would come in and be a star and it's happening all over again this year. I'm really happy to have Diggs. He's a very good player in his prime on very favorable cap terms. I couldn't ask any more of him.
  7. I argue he does everything better or equal except speed. He's bigger, stronger, runs better routes, breaks more tackles.
  8. I'd take him 11/10 times. He's a complete player. I see Diggs as more of a deep threat guy.
  9. If I had a team that was ready to win the SB or had outstanding leadership I'd grab him, but the Giants/Browns are neither of those.
  10. He's a HOF talent that's a headcase. Fastest to reach 100 career receptions (14 games) [160][161] Fastest to reach 150 career receptions (21 games) [162] Fastest to reach 200 career receptions (30 games)[163] Fastest to reach 250 career receptions (38 games) (tied with Michael Thomas) [164] Fastest to reach 3,000 career receiving yards (30 games)[163] Fastest to reach 3,500 career receiving yards (36 games) [165][166] Fastest to reach 4,000 career receiving yards (42 games, tied with Lance Alworth) [167] Fastest to reach 5,000 career receiving yards (54 games) [168] Most games with at least 125 receiving yards in first three seasons (13) [169] Most receiving yards in first two NFL seasons: 2,744 [170] Most receptions in first 15 games of career: 110 [160] Most consecutive games with at least 90 receiving yards: 9 (2014, tied with Michael Irvin) [171] Most consecutive games with at least 130 receiving yards and one touchdown: 4 (tied with Patrick Jeffers and Calvin Johnson) [172] Most games with at least ten receptions, rookie, season: 4 [173] Most games with at least ten receptions, 100 receiving yards, rookie, season: 4 [174] Most games with at least 125 receiving yards, rookie, season: 6 [175] Most receptions at home, rookie, season: 52 [176] Most receiving yards in any calendar month, rookie: 606 yards (December 2014) [177] Highest average receiving yards per game, rookie, season: 108.8 [178] Only player in NFL history to have at least 1,300 receiving yards while playing in 12 or fewer games in season [179]
  11. Hopkins Thomas Jones Hill Beckham Adams Evans Hilton Thielen Allen ----- Green Godwin Smith-Schuster Diggs Kupp Golliday So much is speculative, but that's how I think it shakes out now assuming Green stays healthy, Schuster averages out between 18/19. I think Godwin, Schuster, and Kupp will definitely outproduce Allen, but not sure they're better just yet. Diggs definitely could too, depending on how conservative we are.
  12. No, he meant an equal tier. I disagree a bit. Godwin is above all of them, and if Cooper continues to play the way he has been he's above Diggs and Golliday too. Diggs is a very nice player, but I think I'd take Theilen over him
  13. He definitely benefits, btu his talent was obvious from the get-go Coinflip for me between Hopkins and him
  14. That's what i thought until i saw a pixelated screenshot from facebook. Now I don't know what to think.
  15. This is such anti-scientific BS wrapped in data to make dumb people feel smart. The virus doesn't travel around the world at its size. It does so in respiratory droplets which are far, far larger than indicated. Masks absolutely work Signed, Every country that isn't America.
  16. Max I'd pay him is $12M. He's not a top end DE.
  17. I was speaking of Al Davis and Jerry Jones. It's true those championships were a long time ago, but they're still there.
  18. Other hands on owners tend to get more leeway because of championships. we have two first round wild card exits in a weak AFC. Not nearly the same thing in my book I'm not judging anything. I don't care about her in the slightest. I'm just explaining where the reaction comes from.
  19. Yea, that's where I'm coming from. For hundreds of NFL players this upcoming season will be the one and only year of their lives where they're likely to earn more than a normal working man's salary. For a lot of others it would have been their last. For the hundred guys in the league that make millions a year, the rest of the league is filled with guys just trying to set themselves up for life using the only lucrative skills they're ever likely to have. Family can wait. Guys sacrifice a hell of a lot more for a hell of a lot less every day.
  20. Yes, as I imagine they do.This obviously doesnt happen without the players agreeing to it, but I imagine most of them would prefer not to forgo a years worth of salary. i care much less about them playing than they probably do about earning a living. Especially the bubble league minimum guys and the rookies.
  21. It's probably the best move right now, but football with its short season is in a unique position where there's very little reason they couldn't just push it back a month at a time. They could start in January or Feb and it wouldn't be a problem if they really wanted to. Especially if they didn't need to cater to fan logistics. If I'm Goodell right now, I'm planning for a few hub cities with mandatory lockdown for all players for 4 months starting October and sliding back as needed..
  22. I would expect $450M- $500M. Wlson already makes $35M a year. Inflation ten years from now, with a new TV deal on the way could massively change the cap. If he didn't get at least $450M, it's an awful deal.
  23. You're absolutely 100% spot on. Most people don't achieve insane levels of success through merit and especially not merit commensurate with success. That said, when people act as if they did, when they really didn't, it can be even more galling. I think the problem with Kim is that by inserting herself so strongly into the organization, she's telling us that she's up to the task. When it comes to the Sabres it's obvious that isn't true, and as for the Bills, it remains to be seen. I never said she was dumb.
  24. Her whole story just has a giant creepfactor associated to it. She was 19/20 - Terry was 37/38 and they started dating and he gave her a job. I don't knock the hustle, but she didn't get where she is because of how smart she is. It's a pretty quintessential "Real Housewives" story as someone whose SO watches it on a daily basis. It's because the Pegulas are turning into the Good Guy version of Al Davis and Jerry Jones without the results.
  25. It'll be interesting to see how many week 1 ACL tears we get if there's no pre-season to prepare for and everyone just goes 0-100% in the first game.
