Buffalo fans ran a guy out of town that got dragged down by a team being ok with losing. "“We’re stuck in this mindset of just, you know, being OK with losing,” he said. “It’s really crept into myself… I feel throughout the year I’ve lost, lost the love of the game multiple times.” To think they they wouldn't burn a guy at the stake who quit the team during the playoffs is preposterous.

Horrible Harry...the forgotten man?
BullBuchanan replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Baseless? I referenced snap count, position on the depth chart, and stats over 2 games played and was met with "stats lie/you don't watch the games" And you want to talk about baseless? Like I said, it's boring, but keep on keeping on if it's how you get your thrills. -

I mean that's factually incorrect, he was the 4th DT in snap counts Game 1 , 3rd in Game 2 and 2nd in Game 3. I'm not really interested in arguing about it anymore, though. It's beyond boring to have a small innocuous comment drag out pages when the data exists. -

https://overthecap.com/player/star-lotulelei/2282/ How's that? Being that his 2020 contract was pushed to 2021, why wouldn't it be the $12.3 it is there? -

That's fine, but I didn't start the comparison, Alpha did by suggesting Harry was the best DT on the team with no qualifier about role. -

And take a $12M dead cap hit? I doubt it. I just want you to say here that Harrison Phillips was a better DT than Jordan Phillips last year. After that, we're all done in this thread. -

I said that in the context of Star Lotulelei still being active. Vernon Butler signed a big contract coming here and was going to be no further down the depth chart than 3rd behind Star and Oliver. That would leave Phillips/Taylor/Jefferson fighting for 1-2 spots. You don't think fighting for 4th/5th DT position makes someone a longshot as a former 3rd round pick? -

And it's impossible that if Star Lotulelei hadn't opted out the rotation this year could've been something like : Loutlelei - Oliver - Butler - Taylor - Jefferson? -

How about that he ranked no higher than 3rd on DT snap counts during that time? I fail to see how it's controversial to suggest that a fringe player is a fringe player on a team that's been extremely aggressive at getting more bodies at the position. Once again, he's going to be no higher than 3rd on the depth chart. The fact that Star opted out saved that from being 4th as a best-case. I'm rooting for the kid, but it isn't some bananas theory that he could not make the team. -

Our best DT through 2 games played with 3 combined tackles and a half sack? Ok man. Maybe go be offended somewhere else. This is a dumb hill to die on. Are you thinking of Jordan Phillips? -

I really think he was a long shot to even make the team before Star opted out, given how many DT's they've got. I think his chance to make the team is drastically improved now, but I just don't think he's been anything special so far. Kyle took a few years to get going, so there's still hope, but its far form a sure thing. They did just sign two more today, so they obviously aren't satisfied with what they have at the position. -
How messed up will the 2021 draft be?
BullBuchanan replied to billsfan714's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To the Patriots in the 7th round. -
More or less. Missed his whole rookie year, but after that it was clear he was going to be very good. I'm not trying to drag Knox here but it shouldn't be a shock to anyone, him included, if he's out of the league in a couple years. So few tight ends with high potential make it. and while he had some really nice plays last year, we should not in any way count on him to become a pro bowler at this stage. I really hope he does though, because I think we all love his style.

What would/should a Milano extension look like?
BullBuchanan replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As a guy that loves Milano, I don't want to see them pay him any more than 6.5/7m a year. He plays hard, and has a good nose for the ball, but he isn't that talented. To me, he's the re-incarnation of John DiGiorgio. Imagine being in the league 9 years and attempting 15 passes. -
Is QB the most mentally taxing position in sports?
BullBuchanan replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ah yes. -
They don't need progressives to fall in line. Absolute best case they're only about 35% of the party and even then most of them are just voyeurs in progressive politics. Most of them will fall in line. The 10% or so that won't aren't needed to win Dem strongholds. I wouldn't be shocked if they win every battleground state by appealing to republicans who hate Trump, but in my book that's what Biden was for. They didn't need to pick a second conservative in Harris. They could have selected a progressive to appease the left, and hid them behind Biden and they would have had the same result, except for what happens after the election.
