Le'Veon Bell signs with Kansas City
BullBuchanan replied to Seasons1992's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even though the jets are on the hook for $6M, why wouldn't he go after say $10M for the rest of the year - 6 million of which the jets would be responsible for. I admit, I'm not exactly sure if that's the way these mid season deals work on released players with owed salary. -

Is it guaranteed he gets vet minimum? Why couldn't he double dip on a full value deal? -

A guy like Bell could be the final piece to this offense. Bell is a 2000 yards from scrimmage player, and Singletary, as a #2, could be devastating. Unfortunately, our defense is so poor, I wonder if resources wouldn't be better spent trying to acquire a pass rusher. I think we may regret not going after Snacks too. -
I power my livingroom setup via a laptop, so I stream it from there.

The reasons I won't vote for Biden.

Except all of the places that offer a better opportunity? The USA is #1 in nothing besides ignorance, obesity, cost of healthcare, and secondary education costs. https://www.cato.org/human-freedom-index-new Over 2x the amount of people immigrate to the EU (2.4m - Pop 480M) compared to the USA (1.18M pop 330M) https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php/Migration_and_migrant_population_statistics Try making an argument that isn't based around hyperbole or outright lies. -

I do. I do. I do I would venture that the overwhelming majority of people that aren't billionaires were drastically better off in 2016 than they are today. The economy was in much better shape and there wasn't a virus killing more Americans than 71 9/11s. I would very much prefer to erase the last 4 years from human history and return to a better time. -

Hoax? Pretty impressive to have all your rich white friends in jail and get impeached over a hoax. -

You're deranged. You puppets will scream that the grass is blue and the sky is green all day to support your east coast elite orange god. President Donald Trump’s order to his secretary of state to declassify thousands of Hillary Clinton’s emails, along with his insistence that his attorney general issue indictments against Barack Obama and Joe Biden, takes his presidency into new territory — until now, occupied by leaders with names like Putin, Xi and Erdogan. Trump has long demanded — quite publicly, often on Twitter — that his most senior cabinet members use the power of their office to pursue political enemies. But his appeals this week, as he trailed badly in the polls and was desperate to turn the national conversation away from the coronavirus, were so blatant that one had to look to authoritarian nations to make comparisons. He took a step even Richard Nixon avoided in his most desperate days: openly ordering direct immediate government action against specific opponents, timed to serve his reelection campaign. https://news.yahoo.com/taking-page-authoritarians-trump-turns-151748832.html -

Irrelevant. I'm not defending how ***** Biden is. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of voting for Trump because of Biden's transgressions. -

I'm not voting for Biden either, but I hope you understand that the other candidate is guilty of every single thing that Biden is as well. -
Reports finds that Portland branch of organized terrorist police group intentionally targeted medics with chemical weapons and projectiles at protests. Law enforcement officers in Portland, Oregon, specifically targeted medics with teargas and projectiles during summer protests in “indiscriminate attacks”, according to a new report by Physicians for Human Rights (PHR). The study is based on interviews and medical examinations involving health professionals, volunteer medics and emergency services personnel. It also found Portland police and fire personnel did not provide on-site medical care for injured protesters, and prevented ambulances from accessing the area of protests. The PHR described an overall pattern that constituted “cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment” from Portland police and federal agents, violating several international compacts on the use of force. According to Dr Michele Heisler, medical director of PHR and one of the authors of the report, “some would argue that it meets the criteria for torture”. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/oct/08/portland-protests-medics-police

Man, you have to be off the right side of the map to refer to the Russia conspiracy, for which trump campaign personnel are currently in jail, as a "hoax" -
Ok, but state run media is a drastically different thing than for profit media. To suggest that the media, which conservatives usually describe as "the left wing media", is trying to indoctrinate the masses for political reasons doesn't pass any muster of analysis. In America, the media's only objective is to get bigger and richer those goals are directly aided by the preservation of class and capitalism. Even obvious Democrats (notice I didn't say leftists) like Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow don't want anyone to be a communist. It doesn't serve their goals. Propaganda, more generally, however absolutely does serve goals, and news is loaded with it. However, it's pretty easy for those with a little media literacy to separate the wheat from the chaff. The problem is when people go all in on their echo chambers, and that's a problem that's absolutely bi-partisan.

I'm not sure where you meant for me to stop but I read a few sections. I'm not sure what exactly you wanted me to take away from that though. I'm honestly not even sure what the word is that you referenced. What are you getting at?

McDermott: Cody Ford will remain at Guard

If Gabriel Davis keeps performing, One of Beasley or Brown can go. Vernon Butler could save 6.8M, and it could even be the end of the line for Jerry Hughes. That contract they signed Star to, just keeps looking worse and worse.
