How many teams give "bridge QB's" 6 year contracts without anyone they are mentoring or bridging for? Tyrod became a forum consensus bridge when McD arrived in 2017. Before that I clearly recall numerous forum messages stating otherwise under Rex and Whaley in 2015 and 2016. I've honestly had enough of the Tyrod talk already and hope he bridges/mentors Herbert well. I'm glad that entire FO, Rex and Tyrod are gone. We finally built a proper team right under McD and Beane.

Yeah, but he's not a franchise QB either that the Bills tried to make him into when we desperately needed one for years (Thanks Rex). That is what has most Bills fans tired of TT. It's not him directly as a person but more what our old FO forced down our throats. I'm just glad we don't have these lame Tyrod posts anymore, with fans beating each other down week in and week out. I'm just happy is was a stronger QB class and Allen's college career wasn't elite. If it was high level or elite he would have easily went #1 overall. A lot of real pro scouts did know and we fortunately landed him at #7. 90% of these so called "experts" are fake news.

Until we win the Divsion I agree with what you're saying. Pats and Bills are now very evenly matched. I think we have the upper edge talent wise now but coaching is a big difference that goes to the Pats. So lame that the Pats go from Brady to Cam magically and it took the Bills basically 20 yrs to find a damn QB. It will be an interesting year.

Allen only has 3 INTs over his last 15 games. That is just insane. After that 3 pick game week 4 against NE last year he has been day and night. He had 6 INTs the first 4 games last year.

It's all on Gase man. I really still think Darnold could be a good franchise QB in this league.
