  1. I don't understand some fans. If you dislike the front office, coaches, QB and owners so much why still claim them as your team? Seriously? I'm not trying to be a smart ass or jerk, it just doesn't make sense.
  2. People want to say the Bills are a mess. SMH. Washington will be renting their QB again this year and they can't even figure out why they fired their GM.
  3. NFL Radio is reporting the Bills and Lo are close to a deal and expect it done today.
  4. This is great...solves the lack of WR's on the team. If the Bills just don't use WRs they don't have to worry about not having any after Watkins. They are going to run a 3 TE set. Goal-line offense all day.
  5. Think about this for a minute. If they go big with 2 TE's, WR, RB, FB then they really don't need to worry if Watkins is injured. They can just plug someone else in there or go with 3 TE's. They are much bigger than WR and will be a lot harder for corners to cover. It's brilliant. TE's cost less than WR as well. BRILLIANT!
  6. Freeing up money for Martellus Bennett? They are planning on going BIG. 1 WR 2 TE 2 FB 1 RB
  7. I always thought it would be great if the Bills could trade some of their fans for something.
  8. This one hurts. I always thought his game was much like Steve Smith. Both play/played aggressive and have/had elusive speed. Smith had better QB play so his production seems better but Woods catches the ball just as good, and T2 is still developing.
  9. Gilmore is getting $14+ million per year? "ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the deal will go through "barring any final snags" while NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the deal will "eclipse $14 million per year." It is a shocking move. Gilmore was arguably the best cornerback available, but he is coming off a down year and the Patriots usually do not shop near the top of the market. With Gilmore signing in New England, free agent CB Logan Ryan will certainly be looking for a new home. The future of free agent LB Dont'a Hightower is also in doubt." source: rotoworld - http://www.rotoworld.com/playernews/nfl/football-player-news
  10. Orenthal James is in prison. OJ is a retired Buffalo Bills player who hasn't been relevant since 1985, no need to have an appreciation day for him.
  11. Honestly I think the Bills are being smart. The LBs weren't all that great and the secondary was horrible. The only big loss they've suffered is Woods. Looks like they are clearing up some cap room and not over paying for players they feel they can replace or may already have replacements for. Lets see what the offseason ends up looking like.
  12. He couldn't cover Hogan, what makes NE think he's gonna be able to cover a real NFL WR? First time he sallies up on a tackle will be the last time he sees the field in NE.
  13. I wonder if the FO gave information to someone to see if it filtered out, and in turn found their leak.
  14. Nice ST player but the Bills aren't going to make the playoffs keeping nice players who are complacent in their role as a backup and ST player.
  15. Sorry, I'm not seeing the reports about Hoyer..is that an opinion or are they targeting him?
  16. How are you so sure any of those reports are true? Isn't it possible that the coach said I'd like to keep T2 and the GM said ok, let's see what we can do. Personally, I don't think your ding yourself any good in believing rumors.
  17. So this frees up $6 million in cap space. Just incredible news. This is a great job by all parties.
  18. Ah, I get what your saying. There's only so much to go around. I can see other teams being able to get more production out of him. Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up in Seattle.
  19. See, I think the line didn't do that great after he was injured. He calls all the blocking assignments at the line. He's a very good center. I'd like to see him restructure his contract. I'd also like to see Marcel restructure his as well, that would free up some money.
  20. I don't think you're going to find a WR in this draft thats going to be as pro ready as Woods was coming out. Since being in the league Woods has proven to be one of the best blocking WR in the league. Don't let his poor use of the past 2 years have an impact on his abilities. Woods runs crisp routes, catches the ball with his hands, has elusive speed and again his blocking is great. Just thinking back to last year alone, Woods played with more heart than some of the other "Star" players on the team. I think there's other roster moves they could make that would free up some cap space to make it work. I certainly understand not being able to retain him but IMO I think he's a key piece to keep and I'd rather keep him over Gilmore.
  21. IMO Gillislee and Woods are players they should bring back.
  22. I really liked him coming out of college and liked him while in Buffalo but I have to say too many drops and I don't think he has anything left to offer. I'd rather have Woods back.
  23. Thats an interesting way to look at it. I know the celebrations are personal preference, I could do with out most of them. Its interesting that you say that about the fans. I caught an interview with someone from ESPN (a laywer) I don't remember who he was or what he exactly did but I was driving when I caught the interview. Anyway, he went on to say the NFL knows that ticket sales at the games don't really matter. They make their money off the TV deals and the NFL knows the fans really don't matter. I thought that was odd and interesting. If that really is the case then why not build the stadiums smaller? If ticket sales aren't really big then why not make smaller stadiums? Sorry, that was off topic. As far as celebrations go, the TD celebrations don't really bother me as long as they are in good taste, but the catching a ball for a first down is a bit over the top in my opinion.
