Reuben Foster might miss 2017 season due to shoulder

I feel like Bama players are damaged goods. Seems like they are beaten up and injury prone before playing in the NFL. -
Good article on Bills front office purge
Yav replied to PirateHookerMD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would like to know how you know all this? Were you there in the interview? If so can you tell me the first 5 questions they asked and his responses? Really sounds like they conducted interviews and before and after each interview they did their homework on the person they interviewed. McDermott was a scout and worked his way up to a coach, seems like he's got more qualifications than you're willing to acknowledge. Seeing as how he worked in Philly during Reeds tenure and was part of building those great teams and then in Carolina being part of building that team seems like he's had first hand knowledge of how to build a team. Maybe you need a hug or something? -
The Pegulas flushed 35 million down the toilet
Yav replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What mistakes have they made? They bought the Bills and kept them in Buffalo. They own the Bills not you, not me, but the Pegulas. They wanted to try and keep things in place while they learned the business, common practice in business. When they bought the team the coach walked out on them, not their fault. They were forced into hiring a new coach right out of the gate and they hired someone who charmed them and flaunted success at them (yea I know old success, but success none the less). They had enough of that circus and cut ties for that before things got much worse. They did a much better job and hired what appears to be a very good coach who's brought in some proven assistants. At the end of the scouting season they cut ties with the GM and his staff, common for that to happen now. Did you ever stop to think that perhaps the Pegulas were tired of things being leaked to the press and maybe just maybe they planted a few things around and were able to identify the leaks and tracked them back to the GM and his scouts? Much of what the Pegulas have done is very common in business. IMO, they are learning quickly and willing to admit when they've made a mistake and even more willing to correct that mistake. -
You should always test the water before jumping in. I wouldn't be surprised if Petermen executes the offense really well and wins the starting job and then T2 gets traded but hopefully in the offseason for more picks in the draft.

They are making more than that off of TV contracts with the NFL -
It's only a mistake if his successor sucks.

Knowing what you know today about Kelly and Brady
Yav replied to mead107's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How can we answer this? Would they be both playing on those teams of the 80/90s? And in that era? If so Kelly all day long. QB were allowed to be hit back then and Brady isn't as tuff as Jimbo. If we're talking today, then it's hard to argue with Brady's success but I do wonder how good Jim would be playing today. Perhaps some weren't able to see what Kelley did in the USFL? -
Marv motivated the players and the players respected him. McD is that way. Marv like.

I think everyone is going to be surprised this offseason. Peterman might just be named the starter. Taylor might be traded and Yates stays as the #2.

I don't get some people. Sammy is under contract this year and the Bills have the option for a 5th year. Seeing as what the Bills gave up for Sammy I don't think trading him at this point in time would be worth it. What would they get for him? Who would want to trade for him? Lets face it he's un-proven right now and injury prone. I actually think the Bills are doing the right thing with him. Decline the 5th year and let him play this season out. If he stays health and puts up big numbers they can tag him and work on a long term deal. If he gets injured then they can just walk away and push all the blame off on Whaley. Another reason they can't trade him right now is because they have nothing of note behind him right now. Its very easy for everyone to look back on that draft and say, man the Bills should have stayed put and taken OBJ, but if you really think about it, do any of you think OBJ would have been a good personality on these past Bills teams? Dude is a big head case and drops a lot of balls. Play that what if game. What if OBJ was a Bill and Sammy was a Giant. Do you honestly think OBJ would be the better player at this point in their careers? I have a feeling everyone would be complaining the Bills should have traded up and taken Sammy. Bottom line, Sammy is a Bill and IMO the Bills are finally approaching things with a clear head. Let Sammy prove his worth and health to the team this coming year before they invest in him long term.

Question about Russ and his dual team president role...
Yav replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lets think about this for a minute. Pegulas are in the business of making money. Brandon makes them money. Sorry what are we asking again here? -
Can't win around here. People wanted Whaley gone and now complaining that he is gone.

1. This is something NE would do and not even blink twice about 2. Just because the pick players that didn't visit doesn't mean they got leaked info 3. It's possible Coach did his homework last year with some of these players and kept his notes

Grade the 2017 Buffalo Bills draft

This is a messed up link but the Bills were given an A https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000804541/article/2017-nfl-draft-quicksnap-grades-for-all-32-teams%3FnetworkId%3D4595%26site%3D.news%26zone%3Dstory%26zoneUrl%3Durl%253Dstory%26zoneKeys%3Ds1%253Dstory%26env%3D%26pageKeyValues%3Dprtnr%253Dsnap-grades%253Bteam%253Djax%253Bteam%253Dcin%253Bteam%253Dbuf%253Bteam%253Dmia%253Bteam%253Dhou%253Bteam%253Ddal%253Bteam%253Dchi%253Bteam%253Dphi%253Bteam%253Dcar%253Bteam%253Dden%253Bteam%253Dind%253Bteam%253Darz%253Bteam%253Datl%253Bteam%253Dbal%253Bteam%253Doak%253Bteam%253Dclv%253Bteam%253Dpit%253Bteam%253Dwas%253Bteam%253Dsea%253Bteam%253Dten%253Bteam%253Ddet%253Bteam%253Dmin%253Bconf%253Dafc%253Bconf%253Dnfc%253Bdvsn%253Dacs%253Bdvsn%253Dacn%253Bdvsn%253Dace%253Bdvsn%253Dnce%253Bdvsn%253Dncn%253Bdvsn%253Dncs%253Bdvsn%253Dacw%253Bdvsn%253Dncw%253Bplyr%253Dandrew_dalton%253Bplyr%253Dtyler_eifert%253Bplyr%253Dezekiel_elliott%26p.ct%3DSnap%2BGrades%26p.adsm%3Dtrue%26p.tcm%3D%2523000%26p.bgc1m%3D%2523EAEAEA%26sr%3Damp -

RD 5, Pick 171: Nathan Peterman (QB) - Pitt
Yav replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a great pic. The kid is very efficient can anticipate and throw and isn't afraid to go deep. He doesn't have the strongest arm but it's strong enough. He's been compared to Cousins. He's also been under center and is mobile. -

Trade down and pick up another 4th -
Foster has medical issues with his shoulders and why he was there. Just imagine the Bills taking him and then he needs surgery and he's out for 8 weeks. Also White is a great pick. He's going to be a great player just like Peterson in AZ. The Bills have him for 5 years and can tag him for a 6th. Love the pick. Gilmore didn't want to be in Buffalo and it seemed like he quit a lot on the team, not to mention he was a weak tackler.

Bills trade #10 for #27, a 3rd, and 2018 1st
Yav replied to Imissbeastmode's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The way you asked your question made as much sense as mine, and the reason I posted that. Now to answer your question, I would say no. The random fan enjoys watching and rooting for their team, win or loose doesn't affect my life one way or the other but looking at how others are emotionally attached, I'm sure the random chefs fan is much happier on Monday than the random Bills fan. That's not really something I understand seeing as how a win or loss by the Bills matters nothing to my happiness. This also has nothing to do with a good trade by the Bills, nor does it have anything to do with picking a developmental QB 10th. It's simple the Bills have made out on this pick as it's been posted in this thread by others showing the value. -

Yav replied to Imissbeastmode's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't root one way or the other for KC. I'm stuck watching their games because I live here. I just know from watching them they score a lot of points with special teams and defense. Their offense isn't that great and there's no way they can keep up that scoring production with their D and ST and with Oakland getting better they are the team to beat in that division. -

Yav replied to Imissbeastmode's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have no clue what your asking. If your insinuating that I'm a KC fan you're crazy, can't stand them. If you're asking if as a Bills fan I enjoy the season more than a KC fan would that's subjective and not something one could even measure. Do you enjoy the regular season more as a bills fan or a patriots fan? -

Yav replied to Imissbeastmode's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Better question, how many playoff wins? I'll help you there ONE and who was that against? Houston and neither team should have been in the playoffs that year. There's more to a story than just appearances. Lets look at strength of schedules. KC has had weak schedules...and we've already discussed how weak the West has been over the past few years with 1 strong team. Oakland is good and Denver now sucks and the Chargers are irrelevant in that division and have been for years. -

Do you watch other games? Have you watch the Chefs at all? I live in KC and have watch every game since 2009. The fans here are finally coming to terms with the fact that Smith isn't that great. He's the same QB that went an entire season, read that again an ENTIRE SEASON without a TD to a WR. But hey assume it all away if you will.
