  1. Both were excellent responses and have made my day. Thank you both.
  2. This type of comment is frustrating. Rober is a damn good #2 and might just be the best blocking WR in the game. Just because he didn't have huge numbers doesn't mean he's not good. He wasn't used last season in Buffalo and the Rams paid him because they know what they are getting in him. Funny how fans on these websites put huge stock in scrubs like Hogan and Listenbee and down talk true WRs like Robert. As for Maclin, he would make a nice addition to a thin inexperienced group. I can see him playing outside as well as slot, but expect more two TE formations.
  3. Yea, who needs a LB that had 95 tackles last year, what an over the hill scrub.
  4. "Two years varsity...I'm in the best shape of my life." ..and then soon realizes he's wrong.
  5. Maybe its just me, but each time I go to read a thread on here and see all the "Experts" I get the impression this is the guy typing those "I watch the all 22" comments.
  6. I think Tyrod is going to have a good year. I think this offense is going to be very good.
  7. WR Rashad Ross signed. Umm ok? What the heck, auto correct on my phone... Listenbee waived....
  8. I think Taylors going to have a big year in this system. Now I'm not really big on Maclin but I do think he can contribute as long as he's healthy. If a Ryan coached team can be 7th in scoring then we as fans should expect better from a real coaching staff, adding letting the defense play to their strength (4-3) and playing with more discipline this team is a lot better than 8-8.
  9. If you read the article they are simply saying the Bills have received trade offers and are considering. Basically, they didn't pick up his option, smart move, if he gets hurt they can cut ties and move on. If he's healthy and plays they can work on a long term deal or franchise tag him. Some teams may think they are looking to move on from him so they are calling about his availability. Now if someone is willing to give up the farm for him, you have to consider it. It's really nothing substantial to this article.
  10. I don't understand how this is still an issue. The Bills used two first round picks and a 4th round pick for Watkins. You can phrase it however you'd like but when you look at it the traded picks were not available to the Bills.
  11. I have to agree with this. I tend to ignore anything that has his name on it. I've had personal interaction with him in the past and can honestly say he's an arrogant jerk.
  12. Doesn't matter. My step-daughter would do the same for my kids as they would for her and they have different last names. Matters none. Family is family.
  13. At the very least better head coaching and that's not saying much.
  14. I was listening to NFL radio this morning while dropping my daughter off at school and they were talking with the Packers 1st round pick and he said he had no idea GB was interested in him. He had 11 pre draft visits and none of them were with the Packers. He only talked with GB at the combine. Happens all the time. Teams bring in players for visits and then draft other players. I don't think the Bills did anything wrong with the draft.
  15. Interesting. McD is a Reid disciple and he's going to be around for a few years so we are 1/2 way there. On a serious note I'm looking forward to seeing what Dennison can do with the Bills QBs.
  16. I'm not a fan. He's never been under center and often throws off balance. Also watching him chuck the ball downfield it seems to come down on the backside instead of front side. Sure he has a strong arm but a strong arm alone doesn't get the job done in the NFL. Only time will tell with any of the players selected. I actually like Peterman and think he can develop into a very good player.
  17. Over the years people have said EJ wasn't verry accurate in college and therefore wouldn't be a good QB in the NFL...well Mahomes college completion percentage(63) is lower than EJs (66). If EJ was a reach then Mahomes was an even bigger reach because KC gave up a 1st next year to get him.
  18. If you actually read through the thread on the Carolina board someone points out that Carolina had others players rated higher than those the Bills took. On top of that just about every team has the same players on their boards. Nothing more to bring up.
  19. I don't think we need to worry about that. It will be nice when KC defensive scoring luck runs out and they have a down year and the Bills end up with two first round picks in the upper teens.
  20. Shouldn't this thread get moved to that cry baby thread? Mods? Hello! Is this thing on?
  21. Few pages too late but appreciate the heads up. I now know.
  22. Who cares? They knew who they wanted and they got a young GM to go with a young coach. People complain they don't do things and when they do they complain about it. None of us know what happened or how it happened.
  23. T2. He's familiar with the system, he has NFL experience, he protects the ball and might actually get an opportunity to shine.
  24. Not sure why people ask these types of questions. White was the only pro ready cover corner in the draft. Sure others were good but IMO White was the best. This might pan out to be one of the best Bills drafts.
