McCarron was going no matter what. Peterman was going to be the starter with Allen as backup. The Bills asked about Mack, as they should, and walked away from that when the Raiders wanted 2 firsts. the Bears think they have a SB and over paid with money and draft pics but they have a QB on a rookie deal, could be the same for the Bills in another year or two.

I had a conversation last weekend with my brother about this very trade. McCarron hasn’t been impressive at all and the Raiders were looking to upgrade their backup position. It was too obvious.

Trade down for an extra pick or 2 and fill both sides of the line.

I think they will try and trade him and if no takers then yes. Yes I do. Hence a surprise cut.

McCarron - he really hasn’t looked good at all.

AJ - he looked horrible.

The plan was to take a step back this year. They need to clear dead cap space and get some experience for these young QBs. If you really listen to what they have been saying you can tell last year was a surprise and even if they kept players there’s no room for improvement. They moved on from trading water and are looking at long term success. Trust the process and embrace the change.

Sammy had horrible production for his draft position and was constantly injured and didn't make the pro-bowl. How can you compare Sammy and Mack is the question.

Honestly, wouldn't everyone expect the Bills to call on Mack? A call is just that a call. It comes down to a few things: 1. What do the Raiders want for compensation? 2. What does Mack want for compensation? Personally, I think Hughes has warn his welcome out in Buffalo. He gets dumb penalties and he tends to disappear during long stretches not just during a game but a season as well.

I have had issues myself with off duty cops who got drunk and started crap. Cops seem to think because they are cops they can get drunk and be jerks to people and cause problems. Sometimes you need to put them in their place with a good ass kicking. Being a cop doesn't give them a right to get drunk and start **** and it should give them the right to break laws. I don't care what someone does for a living, if you're gonna be a jerk and start something you're gonna get cracked in the head.

Cleveland (they have crap at QB) Thats just off the top of my head...and before people start with the rookies that were drafted or the dumbass that wants to beat his chest about Mahomes, they are all as unproven as what Buffalo has at QB.

I can't understand for the life of me why this is still a show and I have no reason why any Bills fan wants to see all the drama that goes on with the team to be seen by the people that watch this stuff anyway. I tried to struggle through season one and after 5 minutes turned it off and never watched that crap again.

Wasn’t t Jimmy G a career backup? Some people make me laugh, had the Bills traded for him you’d be singing a different tune just like the fans that said trade up and get a QB...what they meant was trade up and get a QB the fan wanted. How long did Rodgers sit before starting? Wouldn’t he have been a career backup? AJ was behind a “franchise” guy. What have any of the rookie QBs done that AJ hasn’t? If the Bills traded or signed the QB you wanted you’d have a different post and others would have your opinion. Same with the draft.
