They gave up a 4th round pick and they are working on a new deal with Flacco.
-
Flacco is a damn good QB. Not flash, not great but good. You can not like him but he's better than what Denver's had. I personally think he needed a fresh start with better offensive players. Baltimore is a D first team, why else would they trade a QB that can actually throw the ball for one that's quite possibly worse than RG3 and Kaepernick together?

A forth round pick. Crazy, and the downfall of the Ravens begins today. Horrible move for them and puzzling for Denver. Keenum should have stayed with the Vikings last year that was a stupid move. Cousins is a bad fit there. Denver got a damn good QB but will they keep him? Seems like a QB carousel there.

What do you want to see this offseason: DRAFT
Yav replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seems like too many base their opinion on stats and what they hear. Watch the kid play. He’s a big body WR with elusive speed and a HUGE catch radius. He wins the contested catches. I agree with you, the kids got all the skills to be great. -

Harry’s support was pedestrian. Depending on the combine, he’s the #1 WR right now. Dont be surprised if comes out that Metcalf is on PEDs. -

Metcalf is a PED nightmare. N’Keal Harry is the WR to target. -
Doesn’t matter. Draft N’Keal Harry and address the OL needs in FA. That would be PERFECT

So he could have been fired from the Bills instead of from Washington. Cool. I think all Bills fans would do themselves some good with living in the now instead of the past. Who cares who could have been the coach here when Ralph was the owner. There's new owners in place and a new front office with a head coach. Let's just go from there.

Barnwell has Bills at 6 wins in 2019

The Bills haven't gone through FA yet, oh and there's this thing called the Draft that hasn't happened yet. Wouldn't it be smart to wait to see how the roster shapes up and maybe some training camp before predicting their record? -
I will not be watching the Stupid Bowl. I watched last year because it was the Iggles, but this year after NO lost I knew I would have zero interest in the game. Instead I plan on taking the guns out to the desert for some good old fashion fun.

Time will tell. Right now he's on a better team with WR that actually catch the ball (minus KB) and he's playing behind a better OL and he's throwing to one of the best TE in the game. I guess by those standards yes he's "light years" ahead of Allen. In actuality he's 1 year ahead of Allen and he's sitting at home watching the Super Bowl just like 30 other starting QBs. Lets see what he does in years 3 and 4 after the salary cap catches up with KC, and this offseason it could be. They are going to be over the cap I believe this offseason and will need to make some serious decisions and lets all keep in mind they still need to address the defensive side of the ball.

This right here is as accurate as you can get. Mahomes was 50% vs NE and that's because they doubled Hill and did a good job covering Kelce. Hill had 1 catch and the other targets were poorly placed balls that should have been pics but the NE secondary can't catch. If that was a Bills QB at 50% this board would be pissed. All season if you watch KC (and I did with Sunday ticket), you'd see that Mahomes just chucked the ball up and his playmakers adjusted and hauled the balls in. Mahomes struggled with zero coverage against NE for the second time because he struggles to read the D. He's got a strong arm yes but has to leave his feet to get it over the line. Sorry but I'll take Allen, he's got a stronger arm, he's taller and appears to be more athletic. Other than that they are both green.

I think the NFL is delighted to have the Rams in the Stupid Bowl because it's the LA market and it's going to generate a lot of sales for merchandise. I don't understand why the NFL can't figure out how to get GPS tracking into the ball. It would make spotting the ball easier, it would also help with determining if a ball crosses the end zone. There's got to be a way to add that to the inside of a ball without affecting it.

How about since the NFL is already monitoring the games from NYC, how about they just start doing their jobs and calling to the officials and correcting the calls. I don't think it's fair for coaches to have only 2 challenges to correct horrible calls by refs that aren't doing their jobs. If the NFL really cared they would start doing their jobs in the office and they call the stadiums and correct the calls right away in real time and no longer have to deal with refs controlling the games. In the end fans need to realize the NFL wanted the Rams in the Stupid Bowl to boost the LA market.

Bils fans the Dee Ford appreciation thread

Honestly KC running a pick play on NE was funny and even funnier when Billy boy was crying to the refs about it. NE has been using them for years, so having one run on them was nice to see. Officiating in the NE @ KC game had nothing to do with the outcome. NE just beat KC. Every time KC brought in big guys to stop the run NE ran the same passing play for a big gain, and when KC took the big guys off the field NE ran the ball down. KC didn't have an answer at all and everyone just saw exactly how to stop KC. They took Hill out of the game and held Kelce to 3 catches. Mahomes just didn't get the job done, he was 16/31 for 295, 50% just isn't gonna cut it. KC needed to get the ball to their play makers and they just didn't do that: Watkins 4 for 114 (8 Targets) Williams 5 for 66 (2 TD)(8 Targets) Hill 1 for 42 (3 Targets) Robinson 1 for 27 (1 Target) Kelce 3 for 23 (1 TD)(5 Targets) Ware 1 for 21 (1 Target) Harris 1 for 2 (1 Target) Conley 0 for 0 (1 Target) KC should have been attacking the outside. I know the myth is NE has good corners but the reality is they aren't all that good and KC's WRs are that much better. -
OMG. Go root for the Chefs, oh wait you already do. Get off the Bills message board and go support that team. Don’t care about KC and couldn’t care less about you. I don’t like Mahomes, never have and never will. Get over yourself. KC wasn’t all that impressive in beating the Colts. i lived in KC for 9 grilling years, every year its the same thing...oh the Royals are the best team in baseball, oh this is the year the Chefs win the Stupid Bowl. Happy to say, I no longer have to hear that crap on TV or the radio. Even happier to say I don’t care about you or you opinion.

AFC Divisional Playoffs: Chargers at Pats* 1:05pm CBS
Yav replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
NE looks so much better in the playoffs. Just crazy. I thought the Chargers had a good chance and then today. NE looks to be headed back to the SB. -
I know you said he might be...I just think the Bills can address some of their OL needs in FA. I really don’t like the idea of Alabama players especially at 9. They are very talented but worn out and seem to be injury prone. If the Bills can address OL in FA, then Harry at 9 would be a great fit.

Colts @ Chiefs (AFC Divisional Round) GDT - NBC 4:35 pm
Yav replied to RiotAct's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is the best TE and Hills ability to adjust to some of those balls is amazing. Mahomes throws some ***** passes and the players adjust to make great catches but all you hear is wow, Mahomes is so great...not a fan and honestly KC makes me as sick as NE does. I personally hope they both loose. -
His 40 time isn’t going to impress. He does play faster than his 40 and what you really need to watch is his catch radius and his ability to win the contested catches. He does get separation with good route running, that being said he will need to learn more routes but his footwork and hands are great. Rice and Fitz weren’t the fastest but they made/make up for that with good routes and strong hands. I would compare Harry to Bolin. He’s a big body WR that has good footwork, strong hands, excellent catch radius and will go up and get the ball. I personally hope the Bills don’t draft a single player from Alabama. They always seem to be hurt due to playing so much at the college level and the track record with the Bills isn’t good.
