I don't care if he is or not, in fact I LIKE IT! Nice to see someone come in, who has worked in successful franchises, take control and implement a brand new way of doing things and has a clear vision. Let the man have a few years before railing on him about it, it just might work out well. I don't. People now realize how hard and how huge an accomplishment it was and that it will never be done again. Would I have liked to have won 1-2 yes, but I wouldn't trade one win for the nearly 5 seasons we got to enjoy

Its an incorrect presumption. McDermott wants a personnel guy and scouts worth a damn something we haven't had since Polian. Someone he can trust to find the right players for our systems.

Or effected them on the field / during work. Neither of them is the issue, it is the many that will over do it. Next it will be "but I require this much, vs everyone else" etc.

I can tell you right now, Logically, how this is going to go. McDermott has a plan. He hired his OC And DC with the systems he feels will be successful for Buffalo. He now goes to each Coordinator and finds out the characteristics they want in the players to make THEIR SYSTEMS successful. He then goes to the GM and says "lets get them the guys they need to make these systems successful" and that is what our new GM and scouting department does. You know like good, successful, franchises do. I know its a shock to Bills fans to have this actually happen, but its finally going to....THANK GOD!

I love the decision its a very smart move. He can't stay on the field, 10 injuries in his very short, young career that is way too many. Prove it. This guy needs to step on the field and produce 16 + games and EARN his next contract. The days of just giving Bills players contracts is over, they have to earn them. As for as the money, who cares? Right now we are due to have over 30 mill in cap room BEFORE it goes up. 5th year 13 mill, Franchise Tag 17 mill, who cares? The smart move was to say no and make him earn it and that is what McDermott did. IF he performs, try to extend him. If he says screw you, Tag him. This is simple folks.
