"Potential" career length but yeah, that was the main point of my post earlier in this thread. There's no advantage in contract negotiations based on his age. But if...he's a Bill for a long time, it's possible that the Bills get more prime years out of him than on average. How would having players develop earlier in age not be an advantage?
He could be elite or in that territory this year, which would be great (but watch out for the rigors of a longer than college season of football to show after 14 or 15 games). Obviously that would be the best case, as the Bills would be able to take advantage of his rookie deal. He seems to be on that path, but there's still a ways to go.
