  1. They are good LBs, but for them to showcase their skills on a consistent basis, it starts up front. That is a testament to the line as a whole, not just Star. Hughes, Murphy, and Lawson have all played well, and so have the tackles.
  2. Somewhat misleading title, but I get it. He's not our only DT though. Replacing Alexander in the near future won't be easy.
  3. Their first mistake was that insane deal they gave to Gruden. They can barely afford it; no way they dump him and end up paying two head coaches at once. The whole Mack situation was stupid, but I feel like maybe there was more to it than just Gruden botching it. Also, it's nice to know that the Cards are giving the Bills some competition as the worst offense in the league. There's actually a few statistical categories that the Bills aren't last in, thanks to them.
  4. Maybe I'm alone here, but I think Mills actually has played pretty well this year.
  5. Have to have been classy at some point in order to stay classy...
  6. Larry Fitzgerald Marshawn Lynch Todd Gurley (leads the league in rushing) Melvin Gordon is pretty good
  7. The Bills are among the most penalized teams in the league in 3 categories (although there's still 2 games yet to be completed this week). They're 30th in the league in offensive holding calls against, 29th in false starts, and 32nd in illegal formations. They also have 2 offsides on free kick penalties...tied for 31st
  8. Not sure what Bills fans have against him. Of all the guys that have called Bills gamea over the last 3 or 4 years, he's the only one that actually knows the team and gets the names right. Part of that is probably because he's called 33% of Bills games over that span. His name annoyed me at first, but after comparing him to his colleagues, I've gotten past that. They have at least a semi-competent offense...be glad it's only 6.5
  9. The Bills need to trade McD for Rex, and maybe get lucky and win tbe preseason again
  10. I can agree with this. I'm not as down on McD as some here may be, and I try to keep things in perspective (this was a 5-7 win team going in), but he DOES need to improve in some areas. The Bills lined up on 4th down and short, trying to get the Texans to jump. It was obvious right away (even though Lofton and Catalon were surprised for some reason...). They called TO, and the Bills offense lined up again...why waste a TO, instead of doing what every other team does in that situation and field position and taking the delay of game penalty, and then punt??? Thats one example, but it's one of many since week 1 of last year. I like McDermott, but improvement is needed by him as well, not just the players...
  11. This post, in a nutshell, is exactly why you see threads like this being created. Yes, there are issues with this team. Yes, the HC and GM deserve some criticism. BUT, to make such rash, drastic comments has probably as much to do with Bills fans' lack of patience and excessive heartbreak over the last 20 years (again, 20 years...a long FN time in football) as it does the current level of futility. Interpretation: I know my NFL career is over...
  12. I was baffled when the Bills traded AJ and started #2... Who knows how it would have otherwise turned out, but I have a hard time believing it would have been this bad. Allen should not have been thrust into action so soon, nor did he have to be. Why even trade for AJ in the first place? Security blanket? Sure! But to so quickly move on from him, after a decent (not great; out throws were horrid) preseason by Peterman was foolish. I thought it then, and it's more than being confirmed now.
  13. He was showing just why the staff has kept him, prior to that drive. That said, he's an extremely limited QB. DO NOT CALL THROWS OUTSIDE THE NUMBERS!!!
  14. Steak on the grill, baked mac n chz, and green beans to top it off. Wash it down with Stella #8
  15. Bipolar Daboll. Great play to take the lead, bad play to give the game away. The entire world knows that Peterman should NOT be throwing outside the numbers, yet the OC has him do just that, when they should either just run, or throw over the middle where hes not terrible... Takes 2 to tango Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  16. In case you haven't noticed, Allen has not played well...his best play of the season was the "touch" pass on play action today. Aside from that, hes been pretty rough...which is to be expected this year
