  1. Sounds bogus to have that sort of damage from someone falling on you. However, if she is lying to get a payday then she may as well go to Hollywood and get it honestly cause she is putting on one heck of an acting job. In short, none of us can say if this is fact or fiction, but if true, its definitely some very rare, freak incident that would likely never happen again at a Bills game. Either way it looks like she will be a multi millionaire from this.
  2. DAMN! Our only hope for Daboll to be gone. I hope he improves his play calling and personal usage or we will be one and done again next year. Puzzles me how so many fans would have made better game day decisions than him. He must learn Josh Allen isnt ever going to be a top passer. You must have a strong run game and USE IT with JA at the helm. I believe in McD and think he is well aware and will have Daboll on a short leash next season.
  3. I can't see them outbidding an NFL team just to bag a DLine coach. Weird move til we get his reasoning. Then probably still a weird move.
  4. Wow....why would he go and do that???? I can see a college DC gig but same position? SMH
  5. I was talking strictly first 5 games comparison. You see how close the numbers are. Am I off by saying if Wilson was Duke's QB he could have matched DK's first 5 games? Yeah lets compare an undrafted guy elevated from the practice squad in just his 5th start with the top WRs in the league. All Im saying is give a guy a chance to grow. He is just getting his feet wet against NFL level DBs. Its known that WR is a tough position to transition to the NFL level (Yes even from the CFL where Duke was the best in the league) Ha! And you call me the funny guy. Oh and "hater" label will never go away. Too many haters exist for it to ever die. And yes Duke has plenty haters who want to see Megatron or bust.
  6. IT WAS A PASS BREAK UP. Your shots CLEARLY show the DB got his arm in there and disrupted the play. NOT THE SAME AS A DROP!
  7. But all of a sudden he gets activated and leads the team in targets back to back weeks?
  8. I think you and most on this board TOTALLY miss the idea behind the rule. While I concede the rule doesnt work well at all, I agree with its purpose. If you dont think the reality is that OFTEN times (not going to argue MOST of the time but even 3 out of 10 could be considered OFTEN) minorities get looked over for their white counterparts, you are living in la la land. Their are PLENTY and I mean PLENTY good HC candidates. MOST dont pan out. However in that huge pool of candidates, its easy for the people in decision making power (over 90% white) to interview people who look more like them. Its simply a HUMAN BEING FACT that people are most comfortable around and working with people who look like them. It's SUBCONSCIOUS for most so its wont be acknowledged or admitted to by most so I expect this post to get scoffed at but ANY person who studies this stuff and knows what they are talking about will agree Im right. So what the rule does is force ALL decision makers to at least hear out one minority guy per search to hopefully open their minds. For example, Im a black guy who has owned businesses and hired people. When I had an electronics store near downtown buffalo, the neighborhood was over 90% African American. I hired 4 people and all of them were African American. I, unlike most, will admit Im most comfortable around people of my own race. HOWEVER, I am nowhere near racist and would have been more than willing to hire a white guy. BUT, in a pool of 10 applicants and 9 are black and 1 white...the white guy likely never gets an interview. Now lets say I was FORCED to interview the 1 white guy. By the end of my interview process I may very well deem him a top choice and hire someone I would never even interviewed if not forced. OR at the very least could tell some of my business owner friends about him if he just misses my cut. Sorry no time to proof read this post so forgive me for any typos...I type fast and can make many!
  9. The rule doesnt work but Im fine with it cause it gives the moth worthiest of minority coaches interviewing experience. I do think its dumb when a team that knows 100% they arent going to hire a guy like Marvin Lewis, but still gives him the Rooney Rule interview. Dont waste a guy like that's time. Its disrespectful imo. A coach with no HC interviewing experience would appreciate it regardless just for the experience value.
  10. Yeah Duke isnt a #1 type guy but could make a very very good #2. As far as him getting separation... he led the team in targets his last 2 games. I highly doubt there was some agenda to force feed him the ball.
  11. I get it....but based on the eye test from what you saw this year...would you keep Beasley over Duke?
  12. Whats your point? Measurables mean nothing in the league. Its your production that matters. Im comparing PRODUCTION
  13. His left arm was hooked which forced an alligator arm attempt. There is NO QUESTION that he makes the catch if that didnt happen. In slow mo you can see he almost still made the grab. Great defense by the DB. Can we PLEASE put to bed the idea this was a drop??? On another note...why are you Duke haters so quick to label this guy as either a #5 or even not good enough to be in the league WHEN HE WAS A ROOKIE with very few games under his belt?? Why do top draft picks get the benefit of the doubt based on lack of experience when they are the ones supposed to be so much better than the undrafted guys? Seems undrafted guys are expected to kill it out the gate or they shouldnt be on the team. Duke has 5 NFL games under his belt. Lets compare his first 5 games to DK Metcalf who has a future HOF throwing to him and was the #2 guy on the roster: DK - 26 Targets 12 Receptions 2 TD 267 Yards DuKe- 29 Targets 16 Receptions 1 TD 215 Yards If Duke had Russell Wilson as his QB, who doubts Duke doesnt have just as good or better numbers than DK?? Let's be real here.
  14. Hard to catch a ball when your arm is hooked. It was good defense. If defender doesnt do that he definitely catches it.
  15. Sorry but this is two scoops of corny to me.
  16. We gave up a 5th rounder to move up 2 spots and take Cody Ford in the 2nd round (#38) overall. DK was taken 26 picks later. Tall receiver with 4.3 speed. In his rookie campaign became clear #2 WR for the Seahawks behind Tyler Lockett with 900 yards receiving in a passing attack with middle of the pack production. If you are Beane and could do it all over again, BUT your only other consideration was DK, who do you pick? I ask this cause so many people were down on Metcalf before the draft who now cry about our lack of a big receiving threat (although I believe Duke could have easily played that role but lets not get into that) combined with Cody Ford being a huge question mark moving forward. Interested to see who still has faith in Ford/lack of faith in DK "Tight Hips" Metcalf.
  17. This is the EXACT reason I made this thread. YOU ARE MISINFORMED. HIS LEFT ARM WAS HOOKED. Smart play by the DB for sure but 10000% illegal by rule and basically forced Duke into having to alligator arm the catch. CANNOT BE CONSIDERED A DROP!
  18. Seems many fans refuse to see him as a rookie NFL receiver with 3-4 games of experience and think cause he hasnt shown he can be Randy Moss yest that he should be off the roster or a #5 at best. SMH.
  19. I know I know, another Duke thread but I am PISSED that most people seem to think Duke dropped this TD pass when he didn't. The DB had his left arm hooked, not allowing him to make the catch (which is illegal and pass interference by rule) and yet he STILL almost made it. You simply can't EXPECT a receiver to be able to make that grab and ESPECIALLY can't count it as a freaking drop. I don't want this false narrative floating around and wanted to provide the evidence BUT CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE. Can someone on here who as the game recorded and cares enough about the truth to set the record straight. Duke made some amazing catches for a guy running scout team most of the season. He would make an amazing #3 receiver and deserves much more respect than he is getting from many misinformed fans. PLEASE HELP SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT! (mods please dont merge or delete this. Its important for the overall fan perception of a guy who led our team in targets for a reason. It would be a damn shame for this misconception that he has questionable hands to live amongst our fans)
  20. Wow. What a brazen attempt to sugar coat s*** right here. Sad part is I know you actually believe what you are saying. TERRIBLE decision by a professional QB in that situation. He unnecessarily put the whole game at risk with that decision. You simply CANNOT make such boneheaded, backyard football decisions. That was like preseason rookie mistake stuff right there.
  21. Yeah like ours! In fact we held their offense to their least productive game of the season which gives me hope of pulling off a huge upset when we meet them in a game or two. Lamar isn't invincible now, not saying that. Just saying there won't be some defensive scheme created that will turn him into a mediocre QB. Only top teir defenses will be able to slow him.
  22. Mahomes fall of was due to injury. He was on fire before that. Also ended the season very strong. Only thing that will stop Lamar is injury. There is no figuring him out or some defense that will stop him. If you really watch him play and truly understand football you would know that. It's simply impossible to take away everything he does well and he can beat you with any of them. Combine that with the fact he takes care of the football and you know he is the real deal.
  23. Am I in the twilight zone right now? How is it too pages later and nobody has pointed out you totally missed naming Lamar Jackson. You know the all pro, MVP SECOND YEAR QB whose team is favored to win it all (and who Bills could have drafted and had two extra 2nd round picks on the roster) With all that said, Lamar was an even bigger gamble than Josh Allen in my opinion. While so far it seems Lamar would have been the better pick, we didn't crap out on Allen. It could be almost JUST LIKE the Marino/Kelly draft. Bills passed up on Marino who eneded up almost the last pick of the first round (sound familiar) for Kelly. While, after is was all said and done, most regard Marino as better than Kelly...no real Bills fan is upset we took Kelly. They were both great QBs. I think it will end up the same way with JA and LJ except I believe both will have rings.
