  1. so, i need to listen to a miserable old curmudgeon tell me exactly what i said? again, yeah, no thanks.
  2. whether one agrees or not, print media has become a dinosaur. the only question that remains is the exact date and time of the extinction.
  3. you can pick your friends, you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friend's nose.
  4. yeah, no. no interest really in listening to a resentful old curmudgeon. life = 5% what happens to you and 95% how you react to that 5%.
  5. well, there are many ways to take what happens in life. one might be grateful for a company that gave them an opportunity to be somewhat of a celebrity for close to 3 decades. all the while understanding that unless you are the owner of said company, most job positions are temporary at best and to have secured his."dream" job for as long as did might be construed as him being somewhat good at what he was doing. or, you know... one might be bitter and resentful that a company that made you decided it was time to move in another direction after 30 year. the choice is one's to make i guess but if it were up to me, id say !@#$ Sully and the horseshit he rode in on. an ungrateful bastered who only cares aboit himself.
  6. shouldn't all the numbers be where a push isn't possible?
  7. and when they discover it was someone else... https://giphy.com/gifs/1BXa2alBjrCXC?utm_source=media-link&utm_medium=landing&utm_campaign=Media Links&utm_term=https://l.facebook.com/
  8. here in Washington and Oregon, marijuana is taking over the landscape. i was takings photos out of the back of the train when all of a sudden what do i see out of the corner of my right eye? a marijuana farm along the Columbia. i guess i kinda knew that there would be "farms", but until i actually saw it i guess i didn't comprehend that they were really out there. i loved to experiment growing plants when i was younger. i no longer imbibe but if NY ever falls inline, i will be growing the next day. awe man, the pic i wanted to upload is too big. can't resize it on my phone, sorry.
  9. apologies for being delinquint it reporting back on our adventure, time just seems to fly here. i am kept pretty busy with trying to make sure the wants and needs of close to 40 people are met and cared for. went deep sea fishing aboard a charter yesterday. we must have picked a good day because it was the first day in over a month in which the boat limited out. anyhoo, i will try to have a full report regarding the train journey on the return trip, beginning Wednesday of next week. stay frosty.

  12. also, I have three peeps coming from the great state of Illinois. two of them are driving (one left yesterday and the the other is leaving today) and the other one is flying out Saturday morning. will do. have been keeping an eye on the status of the trains and it seems they average running about 4 hours behind schedule. of course i say that and today they are practically right on time. who knows, i left myself plenty of wiggle time though by scheduling my arrival the day before.
