    umm, no. the only money the Bills payed outside of the signing bonus was the pro-rated portion due on his contract for last year. the Jags payed the pro-rated portion for all games going forward after the trade.

    no. as HBF pointed out, we are paying the accelerated signing bonus. the Jags are paying his salary.

    i might ask, does Gordon need Buffalo? the answer to that could very well determine whether or not he will be successful in his next stop. outside of that one caveat, i would say the rest of your post is 1000% spot on. i wouldn't mind seeing the Josh & Josh show for the next 7/8 years.
