  1. yeah, no. my comment wasn't really about interpreting statutes. right.cause your law makers don't have to know what a law says before passing it as we all learned with the ACA. i know that is the way it is but giving it a pass because of, 'that is the way it is', is complete bull####. if an expert on abortion bills can't weigh in on it, then who should? more important things to consider than what a law means? give me a freaking break. again... what. kind. of. *****ery. is. this?

  6. i dunno, economics is complicated. i mean, some people still think socialism is the best way even though there is really no large scale success story that has ever been tried. all large scale attempts have ended in ruin but that doesn't stop some from saying that all of those attempts have not been a true form of socialism. i find it all very interesting.
  7. cool, this needs to succeed.
  8. lol! if she is the leader, what does that say about the Dems. what bizzaro world are we living in....
  9. what does full employment have to do with creating money out of thin air? are you saying that if employment goes under full, then all that money that was created will come home to roost in hyperinflation? or are you saying that only when you have full employment it won't return as hyperinflation? we were no where near full employment when that money was dreamt into existence. if it didn't come home to roost by now, it can be logically be argued that it never will. i agree, the wage growth has been on the uptick since Trump took office, i don't know that it is a direct result of his stimulus though. often wages rise when there is full employment due to several factors. one being the supply and demand aspect and another being companies wanting better employees so they have to pay more. the reason why the FED didn't raise rates was because Trump backed them into a corner. had they raised them and the economy started to tank , then Trump would have lambasted them, whether they were the real reason or not.
  10. lol! the wrong josh is declaring victory in the other thread with only...... 3 votes being cast.

  12. he is being coached. he opened his mouth before his handlers could get to him, thus the discrepancy/baldfaced lie. i don't think he should resign for what he did thirty-five years ago. i think he should resign for his stance on abortion.
  13. why does he need to resign, Plenz? curious to your thought process on this.
  14. agreed. people change. i know i most certainly am not the same person i was in my late teens/early twenties. most everyone has done something stupid in their past. you live, you learn and hopefully you become a better person. while your past is part of who you are, that alone shouldn't define the criteria for the basis of who you are today.
  15. right. the infamous scouting report on him out of college was dead on accurate and he never grew beyond it. i was a big Taylor fan when we obtained him and wanted him to excel. after the first year i was leery of what he was bringing to the table but still thought he had an outside chance of evolving after a years worth of starters play. some point around the halfway mark of his second year here i realized he was never going to evolve beyond what he was and began wanting us to move on. outside of the racist card being played, i always thought he said the right things and was a great teammate and representative of the Buffalo Bills. he did break the playoff drought, so i will forever hold him in high regard for that. it has to be taken in context though and there is a difference between playing not to lose and playing to win, of which i think Tyrod played the former.
  16. and... no one like you has ever gone off the rails ...
