  1. be better. you do have it within you. also, Merry Christmas. i hope you and yours enjoy all the festiveness that this time of year affords.
  2. you make light of it, but there could be no more serious travesty for this country than to have a former President indicted. and, it is not really off the rails to think it did happen with the limited amount of information that we do know.

  8. once again with absolutely nothing to contribute to the board. empathy for the less fortunate is one thing, giving someone a pass for idiocy is an altogether different matter. if there is no water in the desert, do you stay and try to grow crops there, or would it be somewhat wiser to move to where there might be fertile land?
  9. McConnell should just pull a Schiffty Nadler move and table any motions of said nature. while i would like to see a trial that allows any and all testimony, it is only right to play by the Houses rules here, with regard.
  10. despite all the twitterverse claiming the Times is spinning here, i see very little in this article that does not speak to Durham being anything other than what his reputation says he is. tough, hardnosed and above all, fair.
  11. i suggest we bring a resolution to the floor of the House for a vote.
  12. hey now, you're insulting a character in one of my all time favorite Christmas shows.
  13. i don't know a whole lot about this guy but it's too bad that there are not more of our representatives who feel and act as he does. i set the video below to pick it up where they get into his voting record in case anyone didn't watch the whole thing. https://youtu.be/OB_l9wb0dz0?t=333
  14. sure. you just have to understand how to read around their narrative.
  15. just a word about the NYTimes, et al and their 'paywall's. many of these places that want you to subscribe are pretty ***** stupid. there are many ways around them with some just being so obviously easy, it isn't funny. like with say the WSJ, if you want to read one of their articles, and you go directly to their site, what usually happens is that it will allow you to view maybe the first two paragraphs before fading to nothing and attempt to get you to sign up to continue reading. with every article they post, they post two different urls, once with the paywall and one that allows you to view said article. oft times if you merely copy the first sentence and paste it into your google search engine, it will return one that you can read. they have clamped down on this in the recent past so it is not available as it used to be but the free url is still out there, you might just have to work a bit harder to find it. regarding the laughable NYT paywall, all one needs do is to stop the page from loading completely once you see text in your browser. other sites offer so many free articles before they stop you from being able to read them. clear your cookies for that site and they won't stop you.
