  1. This is probably the best idea out of the lot. Makes sense for both teams. Regarding giving away "at least a 1st round pick" for him... that's a pretty bad look for you. Good idea, bad execution.
  2. I'd suggest re-naming this thread. You went through a lot of effort to ruin it with a dumb title.
  3. Taron Johnson is our slot corner and he's very good. He left the game early with a hamstring injury so we had a backup out there. Jets attacked him.
  4. Ok ... so ... a playoff contending team with a need at Running Back doesn't want to pay him. Why would we ... when we just drafted a running back? Ask yourself questions like this before posting.
  5. He gave 1,000 milliliters of blood. Also known as, a liter.
  6. This year's Bills are the single greatest football team of all time.
  7. Wow, super helpful. Thanks. Some of us haven’t been watching every single practice and would like a legit recap.
  8. Can we collect all Josh Allen related pre-season observations here? It would be great to see a summary of all of his pre-season work in one place. Even if you just post links, it would be appreciated. Thank you!
  9. I really disagree on this. Going into a game completely blind is a huge disadvantage. How can you possibly be prepared for a team where absolutely everything is new? There's zero film on how they're going to play and that's textbook disadvantage.
  10. Yeah... on the practice squad. Other than Ragland, who is a backup.
  11. Out of curiosity, I was taking a look at previous Whaley regime drafts. What a mess. 2016: 1st Round: Shaq Lawson - declined 5th year option 2nd Round: Reggie Ragland - traded for 4th round pick - no longer on team 3rd Round: Adolphus Washington - practice squad player - no longer on team 4th Round: Cardale Jones - traded for 7th rounder - cut - no longer on team 5th Round: Jonathan Williams - practice squad player - no longer on team 6th Round: Kolby Listenbee - never played - no longer on team 6th Round - Kevon Seymour - traded for Kaelin Clay - both no longer on team Everyone misses picks, but damn...
  12. He will play well this year because he seems to be a self-centered guy (based on following his instagram for several years). Hopefully he plays well so we can trade him for a pick. There is a zero percent chance we extend him. He doesn't fit in with this regime at all. He's a classic Rex guy.
  13. Tom Brady can do what he wants... he's the best QB of all time. I would prefer not to talk about him, though. Let's just keep his name off these boards.
  14. Meanwhile, in news that actually matters... he's practicing and looks awesome: http://expo.newyorkupstate.com/sports/g66l-2019/05/2157e6920ded4/buffalo-bills-week-2-otas-2019-josh-allen-lights-it-up-7-observations.html "2. Bills may have something special in Dawson Knox Overreaction alert, I know. But Knox was thrust into significant first-team reps after Tyler Kroft broke his foot last week and he flashed some major skills in the practice setting. He caught a touchdown and made some nice grabs throughout team drills. Allen was looking to get him the ball and two of his grabs were some of Allen's highlight-throws. One was a perfectly-placed over-the-shoulder grab on a 20-yard out route and the other was a simple play-action, quick hitter over the middle. If Knox can find a way to get on the field his speed can be a real addition to this Bills offense."
  15. This guy 100% wanted DK Metcalf.
  16. Basically the only draft ever to not have any trades in the top 9. Made the safest call of all time and got caught lying.
  17. This is revisionist history. Not what happened. The anger was because folks thought McCarron was a good starter and shouldn't be traded because Josh Allen wasn't ready to play and the O-Line wasn't performing well in pre-season and early season.
  18. How are you guys feeling about the trade now? Seems like at the time, some of you were extremely angry about the trade. I recall seeing "fire Beane" all over the boards. Would you rather have the 5th round pick in this year's draft or AJ McCarron? (who did not re-sign with the team that traded for him)
  19. A trade up would be ridiculous. You can get an elite defensive player at 9. Period. Also, it's smoke season guys. Whatever a GM is saying means nothing.
  20. Josh Allen is tall. He can throw a football far. He looks great in shorts.
  21. Don't give him the satisfaction of getting your hopes up. It's an April Fools Joke. And I hate him.
  22. I'm fine with the team getting made fun of, for now. Finally feels like we might actually be turning this thing around and that will make gloating even more sweet. Anyone else keeping a list?
  23. Why would you be ashamed to continue to support a team through all the tough times? If anything, it shows character to continue to support the Bills.
  24. This is the #1 guy I want. Young, mean blocker, was second team all-pro before injury and plays at one of our biggest needs. Protect Josh ... sign this guy!
  25. Cool, so you think we're going to trade a young WR on a rookie contract when we need WR's worse than any other team in the NFL? And your justification for this is that we're going to trade / draft / sign a bunch of other guys at WR that will make him expendable... So ... RATHER THAN JUST KEEP THE GUY THAT YOU DRAFTED ... you think we can get BETTER VALUE from Free Agency, where NOBODY wants to come to Buffalo? Or, do you think that other teams are just willing to give up BETTER VALUE in draft picks to acquire him than what it would take to DRAFT A REPLACEMENT? If you don't believe either of these things to be true, why would you give up the value that we currently have in Zay Jones and DOWNGRADE VALUE? I hope you understand the flaws in your argument ... but if you don't ... I'm quitting this thread anyway.
