  1. Yeah, nobody would trade a 1st round pick for the best DT in the league in the prime of his career. Cheifs should just give him to us for a 5th...
  2. Too early to say.
  3. “The Patriot Way” = we got lucky by drafting the greatest QB of all time in the 6th round and had him start due to injury and we’re perfectly average before and after he was here.
  4. Andy Levitre married a woman from Buffalo then promptly left in Free Agency.
  5. A woman sent a picture of herself to him and he went out of his way to say she’s ugly and needs Lipo. Do you really not see the problem here? Man, I liked you at first, but you’re becoming quite the lightning rod around here. Just be objective. KC has been better than the Bills but the players and coaches are not infallible.
  6. Personally, I love Murph. Chris Brown has been horrific for a decade. You can’t find a more “company man” persona in the building. His worst quality is always making the obvious point and then injecting as much homer spin as possible. I’ve been hoping for his exit for years. It’s the reason I pick literally any Bills podcast over One Bills Live.
  7. Now that we’re at 143 pages, friendly reminder that many of you knuckleheads were clamoring to trade a 2nd or 3rd round pick for this free agent who remains unsigned.
  8. I isolated the point you're trying to make here because it's dressed up in a bunch of other BS. Comparing the 2019 and 2020 Offense to 2022 but disregarding 2021 is kind of a weird thing to do. In 2019 and 2020 we had completely different coaches and Josh wasn't the version he is now. We also had different receivers. Seems odd to ignore the one season where we dominated on Offense in a knockout round... unless you're creating a narrative that doesn't exist.
  9. Nobody hates him. He was welcomed to the Bills and everyone was excited about his success. It was also obvious he wasn't a Franchise QB. He played for 9 years outside of Buffalo and never threw for 1,000 yards in a season for any other team. Buffalo, however, loved him and made the most of his talents. He was fun to watch, but never good enough to be like the guy we currently have ... which is what you're always looking for. I'm glad we didn't settle with Tyrod for another 10 years instead of shooting to be a perennial top 5 offense like we are now.
  10. Excellent, so if Dawson Knox or Dalton Kincaid turn out to be the greatest Tight End of all time, yes maybe we'll consider dropping our star WR. Until then, the Rodgers scenario proved that you kinda need at least one elite pass catcher on offense to succeed. The arrogance in saying Mahomes was just fine without Hill and pass catchers are overrated ....when he had the greatest Tight End of all time... is pretty wild.
  11. This seems like an extremely overconfident statement. I usually like your posts, but this one ... yeesh. KC has arguably the greatest receiving Tight End of all time ... but you feel confident that if he was taken away, Mahomes would still shine? What makes you feel confident in this if you've never seen it? Aaron Rodgers BEAT Mahomes twice in a row for the MVP in 2020 and 2021, then his best WR was taken away in 2022 and he was average that season. How are you so confident that the same wouldn't happen to Mahomes? Is Mahomes that much better than Rodgers and everyone else?
  12. Thrilled we locked up Beane. Not thrilled about McDermott, but the two seem tethered together ... so I'll take that package deal all day. It's also nice to put all of the hot seat speculation to bed. Let's go win the damn thing.
  13. Devin Singletary was offered a 1 year contract worth up to $3.1M to be a backup for the Texans. The free agent market told you what he is. Devin Singletary ran for 819 yards last year on 177 attempts, with 5 rushes of 20+ yards. Ezekiel Elliot ran for 876 yards last year on 231 attempts, with 5 rushes of 20+ yards. If you're looking for a "cogent point" you should be able to find it through this statistic.
  14. 876 yards! Wow! Incredible! Here's a fun stat. Zeke averaged 3.8 yards per carry last year, which more than half a yard worse than Devin Singletary any year the past 4 years in a row.
  15. Friendly reminder that the Patriots over/under win total this year is 7.5 and they are the worst team in the division. They could sign any non-QB and that won’t change, much less a washed up backup RB.
  16. In related news, Antonio Brown is under investigation for being a totally swell guy despite all the rumors as well.
  17. Lou Anarumo is one that comes to mind. If we want a defensive coach, might as well have one that can shut down a high powered offense in the playoffs (ours and KC). The point is we could get anyone we want and there are always options. Lets hope McDermott pulls it off this year. If not, I think he maybe has 1 more chance next year, then that’s it.
  18. He realized, as many media members realized, you get clicks these days when you talk about the Bills. There's a lot of interest in the team. Good story, bad story, it's all the same. Who wants to read a story about the Colts? Vikings? Titans? Nobody cares... I'd even argue good teams like the Bengals, Chargers, Ravens, and Jaguars aren't as interesting to talk about. The Bills are likeable, they haven't gotten over the hump yet, and they've been the new shiny toy for a while now. KC still will get the most clicks, but they're undeniably the class of the AFC until proven otherwise, so there isn't as much to talk about.
  19. Funny ... we all just posted the same thing within a few mins of each other! Good to know I'm not alone.
  20. I definitely stayed on the Trent Edwards bandwagon for too long. That little stretch before he took the big hit by the Cardinals Safety and became Trentative Edwards showed more promise than anything we'd seen in years.
  21. Remember when he first left Dallas and said he’s never been happier because he’s finally being utilized correctly? There’s a pattern here.
  22. Ok, so ... having Tre White and Micah Hyde completely healthy and Kaiir Elam in his second year is "even." Makes sense. You're saying there won't be much of a difference. But then ... you're saying that because Von Miller is not completely healthy, the defensive line is "even" despite adding good players in Ford and Floyd? ...what?
  23. I think this is just recency bias. Everyone remembers last year's playoffs and 13 seconds, but... He coached literally a perfect game against New England, a legitimately competitive team. He shut down the Ravens twice. They were very competitive teams. To say he has never done anything in the coaching department in the playoffs seems like an emotional reaction that isn't accurate.
  24. McDermott put his nuts on the table this year and said “I’ll call the defense myself.” If you don’t appreciate that and think it deserves one more shot, you don’t know what good looks like.
