  1. Fun fact, Dalton Kincaid is tied for 9th most receptions by tight ends in the NFL this year. So ... yeah, we're going to use him and we've actually already used him more than most TE's in the NFL.
  2. I'm watching the Cover 1 breakdown of Bernard and want to highlight 1 play that tells you a lot. Look at this run fill at 16:25. Bernard blocks the initial read and forces Brian Robinson to the right in a heavy formation. He then has the instincts and quickness to follow the pulling guard and tight end into the open lane. This run play would have been a huge gain with Edmunds. I'm sure of it. It also gives me confidence that Bernard can use his lateral quickness to overcome power run schemes. We might have ourselves a keeper.
  3. If only there were a 15 page thread about eating crow dedicated to Terrel Bernard....
  4. What's the deal with this topic title? "The Bills biggest problem on offense remains unchanged" Last year, was it not Saffold? Rookie playcaller in Dorsey? Lack of a good slot option? Or ... if we're talking about this year ... what were you expecting after 3 games that is now so unchanged? Spencer Brown was going to take the Week 3 Leap?
  5. It doesn't stop there either. Don't forget, because Chicago paid him so much, we are getting a 3rd round comp pick for Edmunds as well. So, instead of paying Edmunds $18M per year, we essentially get Ed Oliver on a long term deal, Terrel Bernard at MLB, and another third round pick. Not bad!
  6. For the fans it's an exciting component of the game. For the players and coaches it's an unnecessary head-on collision between two freight trains at full speed. It's only a matter of time before they get rid of it and we'll all miss it until we don't... which should only take a couple of years.
  7. I respectfully disagree here. There's a big difference between preparing to play Aaron Rodgers, then getting Zach Wilson vs preparing to play Zach Wilson. The latter is much, much easier.
  8. Looks like Dolphins are back to back week 3 Super Bowl champs, even with our own board members. Week 1: Beat the Chargers by 2 (who lost to the Titans and almost lost to the Vikings) Week 2: Beat the Patriots by 7 (who lost to the Eagles and almost lost to the Jets) Week 3: Ran up the scoreboard against a team with "special needs" What could possibly go wrong?
  9. When you hear about the "New York Media" this is what everyone is talking about. Imagine Jim Kelly coming out and saying he thinks EJ Manuel sucks and he's seen enough. That has to be horrific for a kid's confidence. You can never come back from that. Dumpster fire organization and honestly ... we knew something like this would happen.
  10. Bumping this, as more Bernard threads keep popping up.
  11. THERE’S STILL TIME TO SIGN DEANDRE HOPKINS AND ZACH ERTZ. WE CAN DO THIS!
  12. Please use this thread ... I see several other old ones floating around. Bernard has been a beast. Through 3 games: 2 sacks, 2 interceptions For comparison, Tremaine Edmunds SEASON HIGH is 2 interceptions (once) and 2 sacks (twice).
  13. Please merge this with my newer thread.
  14. guys - please there's a huge thread:
  15. For anyone doubting Beane's craftiness, remember that: - Beane signed McCarron to a 2 year deal for $10M. - McCarron had a decent pre-season game or two, then got injured. - Beane traded McCarron same season to the Raiders and got a 5th round pick. - McCarron was released 1 year later on that same deal by the Raiders. Free 5th round pick for a street free agent that only had a cup of coffee with the Bills.
  16. One comment on this, then back to Bernard discussion. I don’t think it’s fair to say they voluntarily downgraded at QB. They benched Carr at the end of the season because he was imploding and Carr openly expressed his frustration and desire to leave. It was clear as day he had run his course in Oakland after nearly a decade there.
  17. A few nice clips of his run fills here: https://x.com/cover1/status/1704230868594663547?s=46&t=E40WAbu8GsA_XsQdsioRYw
  18. Can we kill this thread? There’s a better thread that actually talks about his play and gives him praise, which he deserves after the first two weeks.
  19. I see a lot of people talking about his size like he’s tiny. Roquan Smith is 6’1” 232. Fred Warner is 6’3” 230. Those are arguably the two best linebackers in the league. Bernard is 6’1” 225 … we just need to get used to guys who don’t look like a pterodactyl playing ILB. It hasn’t been a bad thing thus far.
  20. How wrong were all of us about this guy?? - Led the team in tackles Week 1 and Week 2. - Huge interception Week 2 and a nice PBU. - Looked solid in coverage, redirecting routes and erasing short gains. - Surprisingly good in run fills both weeks. Quick trigger and getting downhill fast. Sure tackler. I don’t think any of us saw this coming, but a HUGE development if what we’re seeing early continues.
  21. This is a great take. The most likely reason for his regression was definitely a random hit in the Packers game which made him lose confidence. Anyone saying it was the torn UCL in his throwing arm is a fool.
  22. She fits the size we’ve been targeting in the third round. GIT ER DONE BEAN!
  23. As one Mandy Glab haterz, I hope the Bills use this as an opportunity to replace her with someone talented or at least a little less annoying.
  24. It’s literally week 1.
  25. This would be an elite move paired with a trench coat and sunglasses
