  1. Groy was sitting on his hands for a year. We've already seen how he performs when he is asked to step in. Cordy Glenn is the primary reason we took Dawkins - availability has not been there. We had a massive need at RT and all we did was get Dawk and add Succasse. We have already added two guys and the draft hasn't even happened yet. I would expect us to draft another OL as well.
  2. I figured we would take a guy or two in the draft. Both of these have overwhelmingly negative reviews from fans of their former teams.
  3. Interesting how it seems we've made obtaining OL depth such a priority this year, even though it was just as much of a need last year.
  4. Enough about the whining about the whining about the starting of new threads! Peak off-season.
  5. I like this signing, just pointing out cover 1 tendencies.
  6. I'm stealing this and posting it everywhere.
  7. Ya know, the whole argument including Brees and Rodgers is kind of dumb. They were both the second QB taken. Regardless of where they were taken, they we're still a top 2 QB prospect and they fell for whatever reason. Teams value QB much higher now, that type of thing happens much less often.
  8. Have you been following me that closely? Flattering
  9. The league has not changed at all in 50+ years
  10. That article was before we signed him, to be fair. I'll never forget the positivity surrounding the Rick Dennison hire even though I thought it was quite obvious it would not work.
  11. Yes, a chart that has Johnny Football, Blake Bortles, and Paxton Lynch in the top 10, is why we should settle for QB. The stats exist and it's basically just arguing with a wall now, you hit 3x as much in the first few picks as you do the entire rest of the draft. We are one of 2 teams since the 1970s that have not taken a QB top ten. Wonder why we had a drought and haven't done a damn thing in 20 years.
  12. Just wanna chime in and say take everything they say with a grain of salt. They always love every move the bills make.
  13. Refer to the 2004 draft then, about 20 years later than this ancient draft. *Insert quote*
  14. Once again, referencing a draft from 35 years ago to what a team should do today is asinine.
  15. Depth doesn't have to be great. Hard to compare between positions, especially center. Usually if you are a below average center, you will always be a below average center. How many OL change teams and all of a sudden become much better?
  16. I love how so many people here tout their opinion as a if it were a fact. No hesitation, "Mason Rudolph is not far off from top prospects in this class", nothing to back it up, probably no knowledge of the scheme he played in or his glaring flaws. Just blunt, he's just a good because I see his name a lot on the internet, and therefore he's gotta be good. Same exact thing was said about Nathan Pickerman last year. Obviously, he's a fifth round pick, but 32 NFL organizations don't care about this dude for a reason. They are wrong sometimes, but it's leaning less often than not if you look at the last 5-10 years.
  17. Preston Brown, Posluszny, Whitner, plenty of these guys exist.
  18. Man threads like these were what I missed from the BBMB.
  19. Learn the damn lesson.
  20. Whoops. For some reason had the number 30 in my head.
  21. Cheaper than Mr. Murphy. Called it.
  22. The point that you are glossing over, is that they clearly had a QB identified LAST YEAR because we had options at our own pick. They traded back knowing that they wanted capital to target a specific QB. So yes, this is just like 2004. The guy we have identified is in danger of not being on this team, but I'm an idiot for pointing out those similarities. I would like to respectfully disagree but I guess that's not happening today. We just traded up a week ago and have traded players left and right amassing draft capital. It's pretty clear what they want to do. I'm concerned they will not be able to. Also, let this consensus #1 bull **** point of yours die. That happens once every 10-15 years and doesn't mean trading up for a player that you have identified as a franchise guy is the wrong move.
  23. They were in the Superbowl last year and won it two years ago. Meanwhile in Bills land we are getting poised for a Mason Rudolph era...
  24. Woot! Woot! Everyone said the same **** when the a Eagles and Rams traded up. Woot! WOOT!
