Interestingly enough, that's actually not true. We, as a group, have generally liked players that have turned out to be good. A few notables were being essentially unanimously against Maybin and preferring Orakpo, skipping EJ for anyone, and trading up for Khalil Mack not Sammy. We don't get diamonds in the rough right, usually our late round envy is for media hyped guys, like Griffin, etc.

This is essentially like asking, "If Tyrod miraculously becomes something we know he isn't..." Why people. Why. Being a backup QB your entire career in the NFL never, yes never, means you will step in and be Drew Brees because riding the pine has some magical effect on a players ability. No.

For those that say this isn't as great of a QB class as we are lead to believe, why does the entire league say otherwise? It's not me and you going to these pro days and having private workouts with all these guys, it's the 32 professional organizations. For goodness sake, even Miami and Houston had guys in for workouts and you wouldn't expect them to draft QB high. This is a historic class. Will it end up being a historic pro football draft? That part of the story is not yet written.

Swing a 4th for Brady, he's probably retiring soon anyways.
