  1. I hope he and Baker are good so we can have some cross divisional and conference rivals and I hope Sam is hot garbage, because screw the Jets.
  2. How do you post in this thread and then ask me how I know this?
  3. Any criticism = hot take.
  4. He followed up this gold jacket performance with piss poor play in 11 on 11. The dude is nothing special.
  5. I'm not telling you to stick a phone up your behind my goodness. Once again, electronically transferring tickets takes 5 seconds. Not 2 weeks like mailing tickets. For someone who no longer lives in Buffalo, I love this option because some people have trouble mailing tickets.
  6. You can sell and buy tickets for however much you want, it's just electronic. I'm not following what the problem is...
  7. He cheated on her and people here are making it out like she did something wrong and what was she to expect. You guys are impossible when it comes to the Bills ?
  8. If he said he's here to earn a starting spot, this thread would be, "I love Josh's fire and competitive spirit!!!!", and since he said otherwise its, "Wow, so respectful!" None of this means anything. Let the boys play.
  9. You guys do realize that transferring on device is no different than a paper ticket except you don't have to physically exchange anything? I'm currently in Ohio and every Cavs game I've been too I have purchased the tickets through an app they provide. Its easy for the seller/buyer and entry is a breeze. I don't get why everyone is freaking out.
  10. Unfortunately, you can only get 4 tickets when you go pick them up so it'll be especially tough for you to get 6 out-of-state.
  11. As a rotating guy, I can see him coming in and making a few plays here and there. Our expectations are WAYYYY too high for him because he plays DT and looks kind of like Kyle Williams. I think he'll finish with 3 sacks and 3-5 TFL - decent number of tackles depending on how much he plays.
  12. I'm sorry but why is this such a recurring "fact" on this board? How is this true in any sense of the word? In 2015 when he started 4 games with AJ Green, Mohammad Sanu, Marvin Jones, AND Tyler Eifert (that blows the holy freaking doors off this group), he averaged 212 yards passing and 1.5 TDs per game. That is almost identical Tyrod with 9 extra yards WITHOUT any of the running. They also had one hell of an offensive line that year.
  13. Effort level. That's why he is so good 1v1. 100% every snap - probably why he gets pancaked a lot, dude is probably gassed on long drives.
  14. He got pancaked a TON in college and his strength is 1v1. When it comes to sliding and double teams he pretty much gets neutralized. If they can free up space for him interiorly he can have a big effect. As someone who knew who he was before we drafted him, round 3 was pretty much right around where I thought he would go, if not a little higher.
  15. The home opener is always buzzing, but the TItans game might be where we have a better chance to win to be honest. Going to a game where you lose sucks. As a 50 year old, in terms of bars, I would recommend Canalside area over places like Allentown or Elmwood (usually a younger crowd). However, there are a TON of bars in downtown Buffalo so I would research that on your own to see what fits your tastes. For food, few places you should go for wings: Elmo's, Gabe's Gate, Duffs or Anchor Bar if you want the classic wing experience, but these are ordered how I like them. Bar Bill is also great if you want to go somewhere where players, old and new, frequent - it is out of the way from Buffalo and the stadium though. Dinosaur BBQ is my favorite BBQ place in Buffalo, rivals some places down south in Nashville and the Carolinas. If you want a locally owned street taco that is amazing, try to find the Lloyd Taco Truck or visit the Taco Factory restaurant. I think it was voted best food truck taco in America this year - their hot dog is pretty awesome too. In terms of hotels, depends on where you want to spend most of your time and what you want to do. Staying at the Seneca Niagara Hotel/Casino would be fun but its quite a distance from the city of Buffalo and the stadium is also about 15 miles south of Buffalo. There are tons of hotel options in Buffalo but it also depends on your budget. If you have the money, the Hyatt is extremely nice and within walking distance of a bunch of things to do in Buffalo. The Harbor Center Marriott would probably be the best in terms of experiencing Buffalo and being within a reasonable distance of the stadium. Niagara Falls is fun, do the Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds experience. In my opinion, the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino (dowtown Buffalo) is better than the Seneca Niagara (near the Falls), but if you are already near the falls for the day, might as well just go there. Its a great Casino nonetheless. Tailgating depends on what you want out of it. If you want the BillsMafia experience, it will be the surrounding areas outside of the official stadium lots - they really aren't as chaotic as they are made out to be by social media because the knuckleheads that go nuts generally don't even attend the game. The stadium lots can be fun too, more family friendly. If possible, bring your own small grill (can grab one from walmart in Buffalo) and just grill for yourself. Me and my buds generally get to the stadium by 9-10, crank local sports radio (550 AM), and grill for 3 hours. We like to get into the stadium 30 minutes to an hour before kickoff to settle in and watch the guys warm up. This is all I got for you - hopefully it helps! BTW, I no longer live in Buffalo but this is just from growing up and having visited a bunch of times for games, etc.
  16. Can he catch the ball?
  17. Nice big words! To make the blunt statement that analytics are dumb, is dumb. Things like a garbage completion % in college seems to correlate pretty darn well, for example: "The greatest quarterbacks since 2000 who never threw for 60 percent in any of their college seasons: Josh McCown, Tyrod Taylor, Shaun Hill, Derek Anderson, Brian Hoyer, and Kyle Boller. This rule doesn’t suggest to you that anyone who completes 61 percent of his passes in a season will be a star, but it does help you eliminate a wide swath of rough so you can keep sifting for diamonds." Now this was written by Cover 1 and those guys are EXTREMELY homer-ish when it comes to the Bills, but even they have a hard time breaking down analytics and making positive correlations. (EDIT: this was written before we drafted him, hence the non-biased, non-overly homer view.) We are bullish, upset, or sensitive because its our guy. Analytics, once again, are NEVER 100% but as some very smart people have stated, it DOES HELP.
  18. Pretty clear that your best players come from the first few rounds yet we stay enamored with late round or undrafted bums year after year.
  19. This is how it will work from here on out ladies and gentlemen. We endlessly compared Sammy to Khalil, Troupe to Gronk, and Graham to Wilson. We aren't even talking different positions now, the guys that we passed up on for Allen include: 1. Mahomes 2. Watson 3. Rosen 4. Lamar If he isn't on par or better than these 4, then McBeane blew it. Elaborate. You have a chance to expand on this for us.
  20. You can just remove homer 1. They blocked me on Twitter because I disagreed that Dennison's offense was not a fit for Tyrod. I kept it civil the whole time and when he got canned and Taylor got traded, I simply stated: "I think I got that one right, sometimes the guy who knows less about X's and O's knows more about fit and scheme." - blocked! Go figure, I wanted to actually become a subscriber too but not anymore.
  21. Btw his best bud Sammy Darnold is skipping a few days of camp to figure out his contract...
  22. Did I hurt your feelings or something? I'm just stating facts. Allen is my QB. He is still unsigned. That is a negative to me, because I would like my rookie to accept his deal before work starts. No different for any other player.
  23. The other guy signed his contract before the top QBs did because he doesn't want any distractions going into camp. Josh has one more day to sign before things get interesting.
