If you watched practice and games without the bias, it was pretty clear.

The only quality talent you get in cuts is usually the injury prone variety or retirement home variety. The rest is all on potential.

What reason? Tyrod is an average QB, McCarron is a career backup who looks atrocious against future insurance salesman. Dude had an insanely talented supporting cast, threw for 180 yards and everybody creamed themselves.

Honestly, he was brutal too but Drop City Reilly was a mess in team work.

I mean our center position is a mess and I'm pretty sure it wasn't Castillo in charge of bringing in Bodine. We can't just scapegoat someone different every year - they did not prioritize needs but brought in more guys they simply like such as Star, Vontae, and Trent (none doing a damn thing). Cleveland Brown's Poyer has showed up a few times this preseason as well...nervous...

I mean, that line play was putrid. I hate Ducasse a lot, but he did show some signs at the end of last year. Without Dawkins, Ducasse is an absolute mess. I honestly liked what I was seeing out of Miller before today - not I'm shocked. Bodine is not good, he honestly should have never even been on our radar. We seem to value starts over actually being a good football player. So what if he started a million games in a row, he's trash...

I almost flew back from vacation early for this one so glad I didn't.

You were probably one of those people that started crying when Sammy missed less games in his whole career than Glass Legs Murphy missed last year. How many seasons do we sit idly assuming that everyone that is unhealthy or ineffective magically gets better when the games start? I'll be here week 1 for more of the same. Star is, was, and will always be average. He got gradually worse with Carolina. I have no idea where in the world the "Star made Luke" narrative came from.

Star and Murphy were two very expensive and so far useless signings.

We honestly don't know who is starting at QB for either team so this is tough.
