  1. I ripped EJ all offseason, pre season and the regular season because he stinks. He was a first round bust. TT is a FA QB brought in to manage football games.
  2. The simple solution is to let Peterman play with the number ones without Glenn or Matthews. then we will know.
  3. Like I said, franchise QBs need talent around them to win, yet the few hold TT to a higher level when he isn't a franchise talent-he should win anyways no matter the injuries, players around him. pre season doesn't mean anything. EJ is just a bad NFL QB. TT is not.
  4. Pre season means next to nothing. EJ was a warrior in pre season games. Not so good when it counted. this roster is not full of HOFs on offense. It is below average overall.
  5. In meaningless pre season games. let's not get the roster healthy and see how he does when it counts for real, with all his weapons on the field and Glenn at LT. If they really are tanking, then they should trade him and McCoy as soon as possible. Jeseph Meyers‏ @jesephm 10h10 hours agoMore Imagine if the #Bills had a new coaching staff and a bunch of new players AND it was preseason.
  6. And they still went 4-12. Ryan is very good of course, but franchise QBs need talent around them. but you expect TT to be the same with a below average roster, when he isn't as talented. Just excuses you say.
  7. Well, what was Ryan's excuse for going 4-12 in 2013? If injuries and poor defense are an excuse for him, which it should be, a weak roster around TT is not an excuse-a QB that is not on Ryan's level. Our HOF QB had a strong roster around him. But TT should be a franchise guy with an overall below average roster, when he is not as talented as a real franchise QB.
  8. Your logic-get a franchise QB, doesn't need any talent around him at all. ever. yet this is wrong. But TT is held to a higher standard then real franchise QBs are, with your logic.
  9. W-L all that matter. You're the one trying to play around with stats. franchise QBs need a good team around them, then so much more does TT.
  10. How-play him with the exact same talent that TT had last night. You claim Peterman will do better. Only way we will know if it is done that way-now you don't like that idea. Wonder why.
  11. Atlanta finished 4-12.
  12. Play Peterman with the same talent and against the first string defenses. No Glenn, or Matthews allowed. then we will know.
  13. No one is trying to say he is good. but he isn't terrible like you and a few others keep claiming he is. and when you say that talent around him doesn't matter, that is plain out wrong. Jeremy White‏Verified account @JeremyWGR 7m7 minutes agoMore They chose to get worse on the field for more picks. They know what they are.
  14. Yes, and who would you have had for this season that is better? there was no one else.
  15. They all have franchise QBs, and they also have more talent all around than the Bills do. But tell Matt Ryan he doesn't need Jones.
  16. The typical response is "give me the rookie". lol You do not start a rookie QB picked in the fifth over an established veteran that has accomplished something in the NFL and is not terrible like you seem to think he is. the season has to play itself out.
  17. Who else was going to start this year that was better? You all want the guy run out of town and yet have no answers. and if you think having Glenn out and Matthews out shouldn't matter, then nothing more to discuss. The depth on this team is terrible. being able to get 8 wins as an NFL starter is not terrible, either, by the way. You seem to think it is. "oh, we need better", maybe. But they don't sell franchise QBs at the corner store.
  18. Indy doesn't have to play NE twice. The over under this season is 8 wins for Indy. If franchise QB is all that matters, why are they picked to be 8-8 again?
  19. Excuses-starting left tackle out whose replacements are not good, deep threat traded, number one WR out. Other QBs would never struggle with that. Only TT. Peterman would never struggle with that and against starting NFL defenses.
  20. He also plays in a weak division. In 2015, the Bills should have had a sweep of all those teams. When TT started , the Bills beat three of them. Now the division is getting better as far as Tenn. is concerned-Indy is predicted to be around 8-8. We have no chance of winning the division with NE. The AFC South is wide open.
  21. What breaks-a decent team? having a deep threat is a break? Thad Brown‏ @thadbrown7 35m35 minutes agoMore Replying to @thadbrown7 Still think #Bills are better than this. But if Cordy and even Matthews miss lotsa time... you saw it last night.
  22. Thad Brown‏ @thadbrown7 12m12 minutes ago More Nothing about last night dissuaded me from thought that Cordy Glenn would be #Bills 2nd most painful injury loss behind Shady. Including QB.
  23. He's a franchise guy. No SB appearances. And that is in a weak division.Bills could compete in that division.
  24. you play to the strengths of the QB you have. it was good enough to lead an offense that was top ten in scoring.
  25. Correct. We have a low end starter, very good backup as starter and some want him to do everything no matter what is around him. Doesn't matter, yet other organizations with franchise QBs try and get the best talent for them.
