  1. Except for injuries and the penalties, pre season doesn't mean much. never has.
  2. "Correct. It's like maybe a small group that resorts to name calling and claims we think TT is the savior, when none of us have ever said so. If peterman proves to be better in the long term, that's great-that means we would have a very good QB. But to base it off of a meaningless pre season game where the offense as a whole put up a whopping 16 points, tells me the ones going crazy for peterman at this point are the ones with the problem, not us."..
  3. In the real world, no one with any sense bases a QB on preseason, esp going against backups and scrubs, and claims him to be better than the starter who is not great, nor is he terrible and has fared ok in real NFL games. If we had a horrible starting QB, then sure, might as well, but this isn't the case. Correct. It's like maybe a small group that resorts to name calling and claims we think TT is the savior, when none of us have ever said so. 4. I posted to Foxx on how TT was very good under pressure in 2016-when it counts-and all I got was "more excuses" and "he didn't care about stats."
  5. Embarrassed over a meaningless pre season game. lol many players have looked good in pre season against the backups and scrubs of other teams. some how they disappear from NFL history so many of them. I think peterman will stick around and may prove to be better. But you come in and pounce on this situation tells me it's the same old same old. TT looked ok last week with Watkins and you were no where to be found. but it is still a meaningless pre season game.
  6. Peterman has never played in a game that counted in the NFL. Like I said, play him with the firsts without Glenn and Matthews. Then he has the same situation that TT had last night. then we will know if he for sure better suited for this type of offense.
  7. I've already posted numerous times today to trade him and McCoy and get the first overall pick in 2018. Has been some rumors that these trades are being thought about....didn't Taylor face Seattles defense in Seattle and do pretty well? or the 2015 win over Houston who has a good defense. or those two jets wins in 2015 when the Jets defense was good. Peterman has never played in a real NFL game when the bullets are flying for real. Three quarters in meaningless pre season games is not the same at all. maybe he is better-play him with the firsts without Glenn and Matthews and find out. Jacksonville may want a look at him. Besides, as far as backup goes, any team in the league would want him for that. He's a great backup.
  8. They are meaningless. TT may not be the long term answer, but he is not horrible. The Bills have a slight winning record when he plays. We have had much worse. A real game with Glenn back and Matthews back should look better. Or, trade him and McCoy and do a real tank and get the first overall pick.
  9. Well, like I said before , play Peterman with the ones without Matthews and Glenn. Play against the other teams best defense. then we will know.
  10. What do facts matter when that one backed me up and proved you wrong. I'm sure Glenn being out had no effect either. matthews out. new offense. all excuses. TT is the worst starting QB who ever played.
  11. "Tyrod was slightly more than six points under the league average for QB rating without pressure — he needs to improve in that situation — but 13.3 points above the NFL average in QB rating with pressure." You said I looked foolish and proved yet again you were wrong. he was very good under pressure. you laughed that off.
  12. He was one of the best under pressure in 2016. They took away his deep threat, something he excels at. Look at the message board and see the discussions on this. open your eyes. and as far as looking foolish, I think someone devoted to Whaley is more foolish. Much more. Watkins gone, Ragland playing with the second team-his drafts were terrible. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017/6/14/15802026/tyrod-taylor-buffalo-bills-7th-best-qb-rating-while-under-pressure-in-2016
  13. You have dishonest posting. When one of the nicest posters I have ever run accross-John from Hemet-has problems with you. That says it all.
  14. No, you were at one time a big EJ guy. Now you are just infatuated with hate towards the guy that replaced him because EJ made you look foolish. That is what really is going on here.
  15. The lesson is not to answer someone who may be trolling, or at best has a weird hatred for one player. i should follow my own advice.
  16. Wow. From warmups and practices in Baltimore. Maybe a little bit of preseason games. have they ever played together in a real, NFL game that counts? Not much or not at all.
  17. he is being asked to run an offense that does not fit his strengths. he never turned the ball over rarely the last two seasons. dishonest posting.
  18. Wanting a healthy offense to evaluate TT is failing. I see. They are not playing to his strengths with no deep threat. But what do I know.
  19. Trade TT and McCoy. Start Peterman. Get the number one pick. Ends all of the arguing.
  20. I agree. This offense doesn't suit TT strengths, anyways. No deep threat. But you have evaluated him with two key players out, don't want too see how he does when Glenn and Matthews come back hopefully against the jets, yet you expect Peterman to be evaluated with both those players in there, which is fine, but TT isn't given that consideration by you. light come on yet.
  21. Having a healthy offense has never existed? And he is playing in an offense that doesn't suit his strengths. starting to see the value in trading him and McCoy and go for a full tank. assure themselves of the first pick.
  22. Posters, like yourself, are claiming Peterman would have been better under the same, exact circumstances. So he needs the full offense to be evaluated, but the book is already written on TT, who doesn't? Compare the two under the same circumstances. If those players were healthy, of course they play in reality. But you've already closed the book on TT without seeing what he can do in a new offense with all of his weapons and protection. yep.
  23. http://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/08/11/can-new-bills-wr-jordan-matthews-effectively-replace-sammy-watkins/
  24. people are claiming Peterman would have been much better under the same circumstances. Did the light come on yet? Thad Brown‏ @thadbrown7 5h5 hours agoMore Replying to @thadbrown7 Still think #Bills are better than this. But if Cordy and even Matthews miss lotsa time... you saw it last night.
